We made a reservation for our family for mothers day. They weren't too busy but the service was generally slow. Many times what we ordered for hotpot just didn't come or went forgotten, and for the items that did come, they give us such a small quantity. We had a party of 6 and ordered for the whole table. When they brought bean sprouts for example, it's really only enough for 1 person. So you have to constantly wait for someone to come back around and re-order. We were only there for an hour and a half (mind you, it takes time to cook the BBQ, boil your soup, and cook your ingredients before you can eat, plus we had a baby with us slowing it down a bit). At the hour and a half mark the server brought us the bill and said the manager wanted to give us the bill and let us know there is a reservation for another party coming. It felt like we were being rushed out. We still had food on the table, still eating and the server came back several times to try and get our bill. I've never been rushed out of a restaurant before and we had a reservation too?? Definitely won't be back simply...
Read moreI was so glad to learn that this place is opening near me literally less than 5 mins (compared to the one in willow grove 20mins; still grateful for it but 5mins is better!!) Walked in on Tuesday 12/24 at 5pm with such high hope But the bit disappointed The size of place was much smaller than willow grove one, side dish menu bar was with limited choice compared to the willow grove location not only that, food looked old and cold like its been sitting there since lunch time I asked the waiter if more/fresh food will be served or not, he said maybe around 6:30-7pm And it was only 5pm and yet they were charging dinner price when its not even fully ready yet And everytime food were served late or with missing item or very small quantity regardless how many serving i ordered .... Since the waiter informed us about 2hr sitting limit as soon as we were seated, they could have served us faster and accurately.. its bit disappointing but the server was nice and seem...
Read moreA new combo hot pot and Kbbq resturant in the greater montco area. Open before KPOT at kop mall (what is taking them so long)
Food quality is quite good. I was impressed by the quality and portion size (smaller is better for this kind of experience. It is in fact all you can eat. So you want things in smaller sizes to be fresh as you go)
Currently they are BYOB, I don't know if there are future plans to be a full liquor liscensed establishment, but there is a wegmans attached next door with beer and wine, and assi plaza down the street with soju and makgeoli, so there will be the goods(tm) for your korean bbq experience.
Overall, a good time. My one less star for atmosphere is only because I'm incredibly weird and enjoy Kpop vs the top 50 pop that currently plays. Just a weird personal gripe.
Lastly, those with peanut allergy worry not (just avoid the sauce bar). The fiance was safe and we haven't hit the hospital yet.
Cheers! Please give this...
