Montgomery Village Center — Local services in Montgomery Village

4 stars now because it's under construction and by spring its gonna be done then it will get my 5 stars.

Update - The construction at the shopping center is looking up. 711 store now has less parking and just as soon as they finish paving lot and paint the lines people won't park so sloppy. There also putting in a playground infront of 711 store for the new apartments that they yet have started building. I'm not sure yet what there planning on doing with the fenced in area of the front parking lot in front of Aldis. Just as soon as Sun Trust Bank moves over to there new building then Biglots can expand there store by making it bigger. Can't wait until they open the cut through street across from the main entrance since they had closed the side street leading to the 711 store and we have been driving around the block coming in through the...

I like Aldi's overall, however this particular location is new and I don't think this was the best place to put it due to parking. They reconstructed the shopping center adding a bank and plus Aldi's, which reduced parking to an already busy shopping center. Aldi's typically attracts a crowd, so it just made the shopping center more busy in my opinion. There is another shopping center very close by just behind the shopping center where the Aldi's is that would have been much more suitable. What's not to like, except the following.

I'm writing this for other customers and Aldi management: There are 4 (very nice) order pickup parking spaces, but at busy times, they are all filled with locked-up, empty cars, cars with the trunk open, but with mother's feeding babies, etc. The problem is that these prime spaces are very close to other stores, and the Aldi shopping cart storage area. Why not move these "order-pick-up, parking spaces" to a less attractive area of the parking lot, and make everyone happier, because I usually can't get a spot at busy times, to pick...
