This would be my 2nd time coming to this pho. The broth is somewhat flavorful however the meat portions to noodle ratio is way off. On today's visit, they had no steak. Regardless I ordered P1 small that comes with steak brisket tendon meatball and tripe. I asked the server to substitute the meatball for extra tendon and provide more brisket since steak was out. I received my bowel with nearly nothing they had not honored the request. On check out, i was charged for a large bowel, I explained to the man up front that i ordered a small but still rang me up for a large..(This still doesn't explain the ratio for a large bowel, let alone a small, "I would check out " 54 restaurant" in DC. They are more honorable to such request and will not over charge you as well. 5/5/24 In response to owner.. You want to justify that my actions were wrongful for failing to bring this to the waiters attention. Yet, in turn, your operators failed to mention of the supposedly "charge wave" for the price of a quadro meat special. This could have been resolved and  I agreed however the lady left into the kitchen and never came back. Most pho places alway have atleast one manning the floor and or register. BTW, the difference between price for a small and large regardless of protein type is $2 per your menu.

This was our first time eating at BooBoo. We are new to the area and were walking around enjoying a Sunday walk when we came across the restaurant which while located in a strip mall location, is well situated on a side street providing for a bit more sophistication than surrounding eateries. When you enter the restaurant the ambiance is relaxed chic-modern that is warmed up by the kind gentle welcome of the wait staff. Chairs, tables, plates, glasses, and cutlery are spotless as is the restaurant overall. The food is great, I had an excellent grilled beef Bahn Mi. The sandwhich was amazing because is had just enough crunch without hurting your mouth, also there was a good balance between the meat, pickled vegetables, and fermented sauces that are staple for this type of cuisine. We also order “V-5” the vermicelli bowl with egg rolls and grille beef which was equally wonderful. We finished our meal with “Mocktails” both the Peach and Passionfruit ‘mojitos’ presented the identified fruit while also capturing the essence of a true mojito minus the alcohol. Overall, we rate our new neighborhood haunt an A+++ and would recommend anyone give them a try!

My dad & I stopped in last night & ordered the veggie summer rolls, beef & noodles & the chicken pho; was excellent! My dad & I have been searching for a new pho spot in MoCo, we’ve pretty much tried all of them within 20 mins of Germantown hah. Summer rolls were really good, peanut sauce was delicious; not too sweet not too salty. Tofu in the summer roll (yep tofu, it’s surprisingly good would def recommend!) was well prepared as well. My dad got the beef & noodles; the beef was to die for idk what they marinated it with but it was delicious! I ordered the large chicken pho (there’s shredded white meat option & grilled dark meat option from what our waitress told us) it was so good! The problem I’d been having with a lot of these spots around MoCo is: the broth; some are too bland, some are too heavy, some are too salty but this broth at Booboo pho was perfect!! As soon as I had that first sip, I knew it would be a great bowl of pho! The portion sizes are also pretty good! After having their food tonight, I think we might have found it! Cheers!

My spouse and I are extremely disappointed and displeased. We were very excited to hear that a Vietnamese restaurant was opening in the heart of montgomery village and we went to dine in on their grand opening. The food was very good and authentic but the service ruined the whole experience and we were completely let down. My spouse waited 40 minutes for their food and I waited almost an hour. We were very nice about it because this was their grand opening and we wanted to keep an opened mind. A lot of “thank you’s” and “no problem’s” were said by us but not by them. After we ate we ordered 2 avocado smoothies and waited an additional 20 minutes. You could tell that they forgot to make them. After that the energy from the employees were off and definitely negative. Since we were excited for their grand opening we checked their website a few days before and it said “15% off on first day” which made us want to dine in even more. The employees were giving the checks to other tables and mentioning the 15% off as well. When it came time for our check to come they didn’t even mention the 15% off to us and tried to charge us full price. I feel as though that was no accident. We definitely wanted to return until that moment. We are easygoing customers but that rubbed us the wrong way… anyways I hope the service improves as they have lots of potential for their business. The food was outstanding which is a disappointment because we definitely would’ve been regulars if the service was more warm and attending. Anywho good luck to you all and the employees & owners of boo-boo pho. We definitely will not...

I would rate three stars due to service but I think it's worth 4 stars due to the food. First the Good: We ordered Pho noodle Steak and Brisket and Vermicelli Bowls, Egg rolls with Chicken. Pho was really good. Broth tastes as it's been slowed cooked with Beef and not mixed with chicken broth and MSG. I've ordered large bowl and I thought portion was little generous than what I'm used to. Meat portion was in par with other near by Pho restaurant. Overall Pho was better than the nearby ones that I frequent. Next, Vermicelli Bowl with Chicken was really good. Chicken wasn't over cooked and seasoning was just right. Noodles was just cooked right. Hats off to the cooking staff. Restaurant Ambiance: I like the open Kitchen concept. Gives you the openness and cleaness that you may not find in many Pho places. Now the Bad: We did have to wait a little bit for the staff to come to our table. This is comparing to other Pho restaurant that you seat yourself and you will order right away with food coming out less than five mins. I am pretty sure this will improve. So I am giving this a pass. Servers did get our ordered mixed up. It was corrected. Overall waiting for food took a while but it should get better with time. I am definitely coming back and try...
