I only put one star because there isnāt a way to deduct stars from this place. I went for a repair for the ABS system on the trailer I was hauling. Donte ( the mechanic) Iām sure did everything he was taught to do. Also was not curt, the code was cleared and all seemed to be well as I left the shop. However, as I hit the interstate... the ABS light came back on. So, I turned around and came back. (This is when everything totally went south) I walked in and talked to the mechanic (Donte), he conferred with the other mechanic and then left. That mechanic told me to speak with the girl at the desk, which was aloof about whether or not to reopen the work order or make a new one. Seemed really confused about what to do at all.. So, I went to the tech on duty.. which was the same mechanic that Donte conferred with earlier, He told me to wait in my truck for them to call me. I waited.... for 40 minutes. The bay was empty for an hour since. Went back to the lady behind the desk and asked what was going on. She said that they only had one tech available and he was working on the bobtail in the other bay. That she would call me. (Keep in mind they were very curt and dismissive, particularly the mechanic-tech.) ten minutes later, they pulled another truck into that empty bay. That is when I realized, they were trying to wait me out. So I went back in, asked for the work order receipt from before and left. I will refuse to go to this location again and will be calling corporate to lodge a complaint. I surprisingly didnāt raise my voice or tell them what I actually thought. Wasnāt going to give them the satisfaction. Disturbingly incompetent customer service skills and attitudes are on show. Hated coming to this place in the first place, past experiences have never been good here. This just solidified my never going back if at all possible. Update, FYI-the reason why the light was still on is Donte didnāt clean the sensors after resetting them. Gunk was keeping the sensors from being able to work properly. Liquid wrench was applied and they have...

I went inside to the fuel desk and asked the girl (I would say lady but she didn't act like it) behind the fuel desk to turn on the DEF and she said it didn't work and went back to talking with one of the restaurant staff that was standing there. I told her that they need to place a sign on the pump and she said that that was on management and that she just worked there. I told her that was no way to be and she said "Oh well". I then said that she displayed great customer service and she said "Yeah, 8 years experience and isn't it great. I just said unbelievable and went back out to put the pump handles up. I then pulled my truck up and went back in to get a receipt for the diesel. The same restaurant staff was at the counter and she moved over so I could get to the counter. The same girl behind the counter ignored me so after standing there for a while I spoke up and asked if I could get a fuel receipt. She mumbled something and I asked her what she said and she laughed and said "Can't you see I'm doing something?" and pointed for me to go to the next register and turned her back on me. I went into the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager and a lady came out from the back but she was the restaurant manager. She called the other manager and he came down. I explained what happened and he said he would talk with her and see what happened. I told him that normally I would not say anything but that girl needed to lose her job and he said that he could not just fire her. I fuel exclusively at TA and Petro and this place takes the grand prize for unprofessional behavior. We all need to start boycotting these places and just buy fuel from this place in particular when we have to. They need to go out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store side of this travel center was clean. The restrooms looked immaculate. We didn't get a chance to visit the restaurant side, but the smells coming from there were mouth watering. My husband had fallen ill while we were in FL. Traveling home we stopped at this TA. My husband needed assistance to get from the car to the restroom and back. This would not have been an issue, except we were traveling with our dog. Obviously we couldn't leave him in the car (not even with the air conditioner running). I was at a loss. One of the staff offered to keep an eye on our precious pup. I'm not a real trusting person, I was desperate. I said a short prayer and took my husband inside. I noticed the employee was starting to move, I grew a bit anxious. That was, until I realized they were moving so I could see him better. When I got my husband back to the car and got him and our dog situated. I tried to give him some money as thanks. He wouldn't accept it. So I said another short prayer, this time thanking God for sending me such a special angel to watch over my fur baby. I only wish I'd paid attention...
