I had an amazing experience at this store! I'm 24, and not many girls my age would walk into an antique store, but my parents bought a lake house here in Monticello and I had passed by it a few times on drives. Today I finally went into the store and I was so pleasantly surprised. I was nervous walking in at first, as I am typically very shy when meeting new people, and warm up over time. I was the only one in the store and the lady (I believe she's the owner!) behind the counter made such a beautiful effort to connect with me. I instantly felt safe and excited to be in her store! For the guide that said this store mostly just has knick knacks, that's not true. I walked out with nearly all functional items that I know won't just be sitting on a shelf. I had a grabbed a beautiful bracelet before the owner and I started talking, and she told me the story behind them and we talked for over 30-40 minutes before others came into the store!
