The Thirsty Goose — Local services in Montville Township

I probably don’t have enough space here to say everything wonderful that I want to say about Heather and Thirsty Goose. We hired her for my 40th birthday party in July, and everything was perfection — I don’t know how else to describe it. We booked her a year before the event, and from the moment we had our first discussion, I knew we were in great hands. Our event was pretty big, so I did not want the stress of making sure the bar was stocked, that everyone had a drink, etc. A bartender was my first thing I decided to outsource for the party so that I could enjoy the party, and it worked out beautifully. Not to mention the cocktails were DELICIOUS and my friends/family have been talking about the drinks since the party—I don’t think many guests went too long without a cocktail in their hand. (Even our beer drinkers went for the signature cocktails!) Heather took care of everything, and she was an expert at everything she touched. She was super flexible throughout the process (I changed from the mobile bar to “just the bartender” months before the event; she created a recipe based off my favorite Detroit cocktail — the spicy mango margarita; she was super patient with me as I was going back and forth about alcohol choices, kids cocktails; she went all in with the DMB themed party; etc.) There was something for every guest, including using the cocktail mixes for mocktails. What I loved about her cocktails is she brings the cocktail bases without the alcohol, so people who don’t drink could enjoy, and she was able to adjust how much liquor went into each drink. Perfect setup. My husband and I have already decided that we will be using her for all future parties, large or small, as she makes everything so simple and stress-free. A party investment that is worth every penny. Thanks, Heather! We can’t wait to...

Fantastic bar for our wedding! Could not be happier with the service! Heather was fast at responding to emails, accommodating to our special requests and made sure our day was handled smoothly. She and her team took all of the stress off of us leading up to---and on the day of our wedding. The bartenders set up and cleaned up quickly and without issue (perfect, couldn't have asked for a better team to take care of our big day). They even separated the alcohol for us at the end of the event, as they work with a vendor that allows you to sell back unopened cases of beer and bottles of wine back. Our guests commented on how cool and creative the bartenders were too!

We selected the package with two signature cocktails and were able to make adjustments to our liking during our tasting day. Guests loved the drinks and the bar was a hit. Heather also did a great job building our alcohol order, as I feel we did not overbuy and get stuck with a ton of liquor. Would not change a single thing about the bar service and we are so so so thankful to the Thirsty Goose team for their amazing work on our special day! Cannot recommend...

The Thirsty Goose provided bar service at a wedding reception at which I was a guest last night. It was adorable! I loved the signs and elegant, cute details, from the colors and design of the mobile bar to the pretty floral design on the interior back wall, to the self-serve cart with non-alcoholic beverages like water, lemonade, and iced tea in pretty dispensers. As a non-drinker, I appreciated the easy access to drinks without standing in a bar line, while still experiencing a special setup. My husband said his cocktails and wine were delicious, and the bartenders were friendly and efficient. It was an open bar, but they had a sign with a QR code for their digital tip jar, which was convenient. The mobile bar was perfect for the outdoor reception among the trees. I hope we get to experience the Thirsty Goose again...
