Short North Trolley — Local services in South Bloomfield Township

My friend and I both booked a BYOB Holiday Lights Tour with Short North Trolley on 12/23. I had an immediate issue when I book and the wrong time came across on my ticket. When I reached out, after several emails and calls. I finally got a response that there were no events on that date. I then send them a copy of the posting on Eventbrite, with absolutely 0 response. I then proceeded to call and email several more times. When I finally reached someone by phone, they told me that they fixed the time on my ticket and all was well.

Then the day of the event, my friend and I showed up at Land Grant and the trolley was not there, there was no communication as to if the event was canceled. So we both emailed the company for refunds. I did actually get a response back the refund was being processed. It has been over 2 weeks and I still do not have my refund, nor does my friend and the employees have no responded to emails and calls are never answered.

Honestly, I am sure this is a great company to book private events through but anything that they are posting for public events I would be skeptical. Also, for the very high price for a 3-hour event that is BYOB, you would think that their customer service would at leave be average and not...

I have had a problem with this company every time I have worked with them. My first experience was in October 2018. We booked a trolley for a birthday. The trolley arrived 2 hrs late and during those 2 hrs waiting around from them, the company never answered the phone. We didn’t know if it was late or completely canceled and we were unaware. Thinking maybe the company was just new and that we could give them another chance, we then booked a trolley for a bachelorette party this August. They emailed to cancel on us only a couple hours before we were supposed to go. When we called to see if we could add more people or fix this issue in some way, once again no answer. Never even returned our call. Thankfully we called Pedal Wagon and they set us up with a last minute ride for the bachelorette party. They have always delivered exactly what we have asked for. The trolley was over an hour late for my group of over 15. We had to wait outside of the bar since we had coolers and almost every person in our group tried to get a hold of someone. No answer and no call backs. The trolley finally came and the group before us was still on there even though it wasn't their time slot. Come to find out one of the owners was on the trolley and was flirting with someone in the group. We had to ride with that group until they were ready to get off. The owner could've cared less that a large group had been waiting for over an hour.
