I recently purchased a new pellet grill from this store. They had the option to have it assembled in the store so I had them do that. I picked it up with a rented trailer and the store person even helped secure it in the trailer for me.
It was a couple of weeks before I could get it set up and when I opened the hopper I saw that the grease bucket was inside the hopper, under a grate that was screwed in. I tried to remove the screws - some came out easily but a few were in there real good and started stripping. There was also a bolt missing from one of the legs.
I called the store, not really thinking they would be able to do much about it. They immediately offered to order some parts & actually come to my house to fix it! I was impressed just with that, especially since I live 30 minutes away.
Two days later, the store called me and asked if I would be home because they were going to deliver a new grill to me fully assembled and take away the original one. They came in a personal vehicle with a trailer, brought the grill all the way to my yard and as promised took the old one. They even threw in a bag of pellets!
I was seriously blown away at the incredible customer service I received. I just couldn't believe that they would deliver me a new grill over a few stripped screws but they were committed to making it right. I can't say how much I appreciated that. Payed for them and went back outside so they could.load them into my 76 y/o father's trailer, the guy that was supposed to load them was clueless. He wasn't able to load them so he called for someone to help. That's when the store manager came out saying " aren't y'all gonna help" to me,my 76 y/o father and my disabled brother.
For one that's not my or any customers job to load anything. I do not work for Tractor Supply. For a store manager to even think that is any way to talk to a customer is completely wrong. Read moreTo be very frank, 2 Stars is on the kind side. I used to buy my chicken feed here (and have for 2+ years). I once bought a bag of organic feed ($ expensive $) and after I got down about 1/2 way through the bag, the bottom was FULL of chunks with mold all in it. I had already used half the bag, so i just dumped it and took the loss. About 2.5 months ago, unbeknownst to me, I had bought another bag of feed that didn't have noticeable mold chunks, but had spores in the feed. This caused me to lose 3 of my laying hens as well as my 3 month old chick that my hen hatched - the ONLY hatchling we've ever gotten, to sour crop - and that was devastating. I have started sourcing my feed through local feed stores now, and only use TS as a last resort.
