I am so disappointed and horrified in the way that business is conducted at this used car lot. I was just sold a vehicle with 2 bad catalytic converters that will not allow the vehicle to pass smog. They won't do anything to help at all. The check engine light came on after we left the dealership on our way home and while I was following my husband home I saw black smoke coming from the exhaust. We took it to our mechanic the next day. That evening our mechanic let us know that the brakes in the front were completely shot and we needed new front rotors and suspension as well. He also let us know that the 2 catalytic converters were both bad and there were 2 codes popping up on the computer. He said this vehicle absolutely could not pass smog and could not have passed smog a month ago when they said that it did. They never produced a valid smog certificate at the time of the sale. We were back at the dealership the following day less than 48 hours from when we picked up the vehicle and left the car lot. We provided the "manager" Hector with the complete diagnostic report from the mechanic and informed him that the check engine light was on now. Hector, a supposed professional auto dealer, informed us that because we put less than a full tank of regular unleaded gas in the tank instead of premium gas when we left the car lot, we caused the 2 catalytic converters to go bad and the check engine light to come on overnight. He said it was an As-is sale and that that he would not help us in any way. We informed him that by law he could not sell a vehicle that would not pass smog. We asked to speak to the owner, Marwan who we had been referred to and was told that he would help us and that he would be understanding and work with us. We actually got his name from someone that we know who would vouch for the owners integrity as a businessman. Hector informed us that there was no owner. He told us that he was the only person we could speak to and then later when we were asking him about any possible options for us, he said he would email the corporation. When I asked for the contact information directly for the corporation he refused. He became hostile and argumentative and told us that we must leave the property. When I called the car lot later that evening and asked to speak to Marwan, I was told that he was not in at that time to try back later. I left thousands of dollars with them as a down payment and I do not have thousands more for the work that it will take just so that I can ensure that my vehicle's running safely and will Legally pass a smog test. I have only asked them to do what they are legally responsible to make sure is done. Now, If I don't receive a response from their "corporation", I will have to seek...

I purchased a vehicle on May at here. I visited twice to check what needs to be fixed and I got a car. But nothing has been done. So I visited the office again, and there was no roommirror so they said the ordered so we need to wait. And before we purchase it, the A/C wasn't working at all so we had to go back home without A/C during hot weather. And the light bull was out too, so we had to go to other store to replace the light bull. Also the vehicle's under cover was fall put after we purchased the vehicle 10days later only. So we had to replace whole thing. When we purchase the vehicle, they said and even wrote and signed that they will fix first two things but they ever fixed and when we called them they kept avoiding calls. And when we left message, they never called me back and the owner said he don't know and avoid the issues.

Read moreI won't go into details about the problems I encountered on any specific car but this is my advice. First you want to make sure you have an unlimited Carfax account so you can tally how many of these cars have major accident histories. Second, you'll absolutely want to take any car you might be interested in to a qualified shop for a complete mechanical/frame/electrical inspection which will save you money and future grief, think of it as insurance. Third, you do not want to believe all these recent glorious reviews by people that have only one review history, all with near perfect terminology, syntax and spelling, which you never see on businesses with more than 5 reviews (compare them with the negative reviews and you'll see what I mean). Fourth, the day I went with my sister to look at a car at AAF (thank God I went with her) I noticed a real estate sign out front. When I looked up the listing it was showing it being for rent with a 30 day notice for availability. Might be they're trying to get out of Dodge....
