Read moreI was impressed with the cleanliness of the store and was taken by surprise that the Lobster and Stone Crab smelled like ammonia when I got ready to cook it. I bought it drove home 15 minutes away and put it in the freezer because I was planning to eat it at a later date. Took it out 2weeks later and there was a strong odor of amonia I called the store to let him know and he said he couldn’t give me a refund because I didn’t have my receipt. I told them I could pull up my bank statement since it was on there but he only wanted a receipt. I don’t know about anybody else but I don’t usually hang on to receipts of food. But anyway my sea bass was good. I just left this review because I wanted them to see this hoping it would encourage better customer service we spent good money that day and to know we couldn’t enjoy our Lobster and crab legs was not fair to us. No one from the company reached out to me to tell me they didn't have the original product (and blue mussels are generally much cheaper than green). Also, my address is around 2 hours from their storefront location and I paid $25 for shipping and my order arrived defrosted. The packaging they used seemed insufficient for shipping frozen product. It was only styrofoam with a small pack of dry ice. I called the store about 3 or 4 times over a week before I was able to get a refund.
