Always a blast here. Their pre-releases are tons of fun, they have nights for Pokemon and mtg (commander, limited, etc), they have TONS of stock in a variety of things... Sports, FunkoPops, pins, comics, books, graphic novels, magic cards, Pokemon cards, Warhammer, pathfinder, d&d, classic/vintage video games, movies, board games... you name it. The staff is all super knowledgeable and very friendly. The place is well air conditioned and doesn't have that usual "gaming store smell" (lol). The prices are better than some other gaming stores, as well. Definitely worth stopping in and perhaps staying a while.

Edit: just went to the LOTR pre-release and had a great time, and my kids had a blast looking through comics and toys!

ABSOLUTE GEM. Travelers: STOP HERE. I was driving from western to eastern NC for work and I decided to just find a comic shop on my route. This was such an incredible store. It's the best kind of old-school comic and games shop: new stuff, back issues, video games, collectibles, tables in the back for gameplay, TONS of stuff. I could have spent HOURS in there. But I only had 15 minutes, and even in that time, I found some incredible deals on old comics and an N64 game I've been hunting for for over a year, all all totally fair prices. The staff was super nice and the owner was there and he took the time out of what he was doing to help me find a couple of things. This is the way comic shops SHOULD BE. First of all good selection of games and related items but beware the owner is not all to honest..Me and my husband bought a broke snes system on a sale day recently..We were told multiple times that they had tested the system and we trusted that instead of going with our gut and requesting a test before buying..We went in later and explained what had happened..Was told to bring the system back in with receipt to match numbers .
