Sunday 8/18/19 approximately 3 pm..... Entered the venue and waited 6-8 minutes to order. No one ever appeared so we used the self order kiosks with others. At one point there was a line for the self order area. After figuring that process out...which took about 10 minutes.... We tried to find a clean table which was also a chore. I went to the pick up window and shared with an employee that we were having a difficult time finding a clean place to sit. His response was very quick and unfriendly. My wife eventually got some napkins and cleaned a table for us. The pager that we picked up at the self checkout started vibrating and upon arrival to the pick up window there was nothing there........ He told me our sandwiches were still in the oven. I now had to stand there and wait until the food was ready... The only good thing about this visit is that our food was good. I don't know what is going on... but all of the restaurants on that row in front of Walmart have had similar problems. It is unfortunate. They all need to take notes from Chic fi La .... I will not give up on them yet.... But this was a bad experience especially when you pay almost $30.00 for half a sandwich and a bowl of soup for 2 people and you have to wait on yourself and clean the dining room too....LOL
UPDATE: March 3rd 2022. Came in for lunch waited 25 minutes to get a bowl of soup and a salad. Restaurant was not crowded. Don't understand how pre-made soup takes 25 minutes to pour into a bowl. I love the taste of their food and it appears to be healthy however. If I'm going to do self checkout that should free up some people too expedite my soup order and a better time frame than 25 minutes. Forgot I had a bad experience here a few years ago maybe it's just a problem with this specific location. At the 20-minute Mark I inquiring about my lawyer at the window was told *yes we're busy just wait" But there were only six other people in the dining room and they all had their food with the exception of one of the person. Maybe the drive-thru had them backed up I'm not sure. It's unfortunate but I probably won't eat here anytime soon until I forget this like I have in the past LOL if you have 30 minutes to wait for a bowl of soup then I encourage you to come by and practice patients otherwise I wouldn't suggest if you're on a lunch break...
Read moreThis was the WORST Panera experience I’ve ever had. The service was absolutely deplorable- I’m not sure if it was because I went there relatively early in the morning for breakfast, but still, it’s inexcusable. The kiosk I attempted to order from wasn’t working and it kept saying that I had an item that was unavailable, even though there was NO item on my list that said ‘unavailable’. Shouldn’t Panera at least be capable of keeping its kiosks functioning correctly? I then proceeded to order from an actual employee. She was incredibly dry and seemed completely uninterested and bored. I had previously asked her help using the kiosk (because it wasn’t working properly), and she proceeded to ignore me the first 3 times I said ‘excuse me’. Once I had ordered, (which thankfully the food was warm and came fast), I realized that they didn’t bring the soufflé I had ordered, although I asked them about it twice. When I asked her NICELY to get me the soufflé I had ordered, she looked extremely inconvenienced (although she’s there to serve ME as the one who paid for the soufflé), then as if on purpose, she walked as slowly as she could and proceeded to put her gloves on equally slowly. My last complaint is that I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon on it, and there were only 3 quarter pieces of it.
If you can, don’t come here! Support a different Panera restaurant that has kinder staff and...
Read moreI love Panera and order from them regularly. However the meal that I ordered today at this particular location was missing a few items & not to my satisfaction.
On my order none of the sandwiches from the family feast were labeled so I couldn’t tell which was what. I found I was missing 1 sandwich & 2 yogurt tubes. I thought it was the kids turkey sandwich so I went back into the cafe to inform a staff member. He did apologize and made the missing Turkey sandwich. He also informed me they were out of yogurt tubes and offered a substitution instead. I wish the drive-thru cashier had informed me when she handed the food to me at first.
When I got home to serve my family the food, it turned out we were actually missing a roasted Turkey & avocado BLT sandwich. On top of that, the French onion soup did not have any gruyere cheese or croutons.
I’m not sure why so many things were overlooked but I just wanted to provide my feedback and express my disappointment from today’s visit. I’m wary of placing any “family” orders with Panera...
