Rural King — Local services in Morgantown

I'm very upset in writing this post. My husband and I were at the Morgantown Royal King this past Saturday and we purchased 10 chicks to add to our flock. We have never bought chicks from Royal King before and that definitely will be the first and last time of doing so. They happened to be on sale when we got them and we got 4 different breeds. In bringing them home they all seemed fine and Sunday morning they started to die. Each day since I have lost 1-2 chicks. Right now I am down to 4 of the 10 I purchased less then a week ago. I am very upset with Royal King. I sure hope they did not know something was wrong with these chicks and that's the reason they marked them down, just to get rid of them. And if that is the case you should be ashamed of yourselves. I absolutely love animals and I have done everything I could to save each of those dying chicks, but it just wasn't enough. I wasn't going to post anything about this incident, but I want others to know that if you have bought from there recently I hope you don't have to go through the same thing I have and if you are, you're not the only one. Will not be returning to this store over the fact the heavier set guy with long dark hair and glasses is super rude. me and my friend was both about to purchase high dollar guns would've been over a 2 thousands dollar sale but when we asked him 2 questions he ignored us. 3rd question he got very ignorant. Raised his voice saying " can't you see im busy, I will get to you when I get to you thats the best I can tell you! There was only one other person in the area and he was 20ft from the gun desk so we figured he was still looking. Not only did we Not purchase the guns but left our cart with over 200$ in other items. People with this type of customer service and poor attitude should be fired! I've spent thousands of dollars at rural king, never again. We actually left rural king and went to dunhams where the same gun we was going to purchase at rural king was $80 cheaper and Dunhams had great customer service. If I could give a negative rating on chickens I would! On 2/19/2024 my family bought 22 chickens spending just over $80.00 at the Morgantown rual king. Within 4 hours of getting home (5 hours of purchase as we live an hour away) 3 was dead. The next morning (2/20/2024) 3 more dead ( this is at 12 hours after purchase) then 4 more dead 24 hours in 10 dead total. The next day ( 2/21/24) another 2 dead. And now today 2/22/2024 2 more are dead. Here we are with 8 chicks as of now out of 22. My kids are heart broken ss they take joy in raising chicks every year and this is our 7th year and besides one year of loosing one of our own (we incubated) we had never lost another chick let alone so many!
