I have to say that this was by far one of the least organization establishments I have been in. First of all the location on the website is incorrect. Looking back I wish I would have turned around and went else where. When I did finally get to the store I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. Note that I am 30, clearly not going to a high school dance but non the less I am in need of a gown for an up coming event. They asked what I was looking for as far as size and color. Topically I go for black and about a size 4, yet open to suggestions. I was lead to a long rack of black dresses in my size range. I was told to start there, allowing 5 gowns at a time. As I began searching and I mean searching, it was no easy task. I began selecting dresses, it was difficult. It was overwhelming. As I picked a sales clerk would come take my selection and disappear with it. When I went back to try them on they were hung in a narrow dressing room and as I tried them on someone would zip me and to get a better look at myself in each gown I had to stand in the middle of the store with the one or two others trying on dresses. (Remember I am 30, with two kids, not attending a high school dance) I asked for input, or reconditions, mainly because the thought of having to pick through the mass of unorganized fabric was to much! I must say the two staff members were helpful, as much as they could be. I felt had there been more help when things picked up it would have been easier for myself and others.
As flattering as it may seem being told you look "amazing" in everything. I would have preferred more honesty. A lot of dresses were damaged, Some appeared to have maybe even been worn, they assured me that this was not a Consignment Dress store even though I felt that's what it looked like. I did choose a dress yet as I was going to check out it just seemed that everyone had their hands full. Before leaving I limply asked if they could give me some information so that I could call in with card information and set up for alterations. I want given a piece of scrap paper when I put my info. I left and before calling the next day I decided not too. I could be calling and buying a $600 dress that was flung in a hunger, snagged, who knows.
I know this is a long review and not the best. However, taking it all in now. I Hope that other take into consideration that regardless of spending $200 or $500 of a gown for yourself or your daughter that you look at where it is coming from. If they do not care for stalk dresses they intend to sell you I don't feel they care much about...

I had purchased a dress from The Queen's Choice for the 2020 prom season. I have no complaints about the service I received that day. This was the second dress I had purchases there. The lady at the cash register recommended a seamstress, so that's where I took my dress to be altered. A couple of weeks before the prom Covid-19 hit and I called the seamstress to let her know that our prom had been cancelled, but that I would pick up the dress as soon as I could before the next prom season. The seamstress was very accommodating and understood that it would be a while before I traveled the 1 1/2 hour drive to pick it up. She was completely willing to wait until the pandemic was over.
Fast forward to today, after I've had my second vaccination shot and feel that it's safe to be in close contact with someone in their home. I go to call the seamstress, but I couldn't find her number. So I called The Queen's Choice to see if they could give me her contact information. The owner of the store, Jenny, answered the phone. As soon as I told her my predicament, she immediately started chastising me about leaving my dress at the seamstress' for so long. She lectured me like I was a 15-year old recalcitrant child. I even explained to her that I had already contacted the seamstress once, but Jenny continued to berate me for my actions. She was the rudest business owner I've ever had the misfortune to do business with.
I just got off the phone with the seamstress and she was very gracious and understood my situation. I am picking up the gown this evening. However, I will never purchase anything from The Queen's Choice again because of the owner's inability to stay out of other people's business. This is how she treated a previous and probable future customer. I do not recommend this place to anyone because there are many other business-women out there who will appreciate your business and treat you with respect. Jenny is not that...
Read moreNEW OWNERS Don’t let the old reviews scare you! I remember shopping here the last two years for galas and 10 years ago for high school prom and let me just say— these new owners are fantastic to say the least!!! They are the sweetest, kindest people you’ll ever meet. From the time I walked in and they asked what event I was shopping for, I was assisted during the entire process with a smile and a lending hand. They were pinning the dresses behind me while I had them on just so I could better envision what it would look like altered. I tried on SO many beautiful dresses (10+ dresses at least — there was no limit) until I walked out of there feeling like a true QUEEN with the dress of my dreams. I look forward to shopping there for many black tie events and galas to come as I know I can count on them for providing the best experience from start to finish!
P.S. they had some of the newest styles out and were even looking online to see what could be ordered for me. I’m telling you guys — they are SO accommodating and make this...
