V. F. W. Post 9619 — Local services in Morningside

This place is very discriminating. I went to this V. F. W. Post 9619 to book some tables near the DJ booth up front by the door on multiple occasion. I was told by The General Manager in the front office those table were already booked. She said one of there regular customer, who buys a lot of food and drinks already booked those tables 6 to 8 months in advance. How is that allowed. Discrimination. The General manager said, this is a Regular customer that they allow to book tables months in advance. Discrimination. I have went to V. F. W. Post 9619 several times on several different days and was unable to book those tables. How is this person able to do so???????? I was told She's a regular customer. (That's call Discrimination) I'm going to report this issue to the Better Business Bureau. This is called discrimination. 6 to 8 months in advance to book tables? This customer is booked up until June....

Friday nights here are GREAT!!! It's a very grown and mature crowd- 40 and up - so if that's your thing, you will enjoy this spot on Fridays. The main side is the party, where the DJ does his thing with the hype man. You byob and get there early so you can get a table. If you don't byob, you can buy drinks there, and the bartenders are VERY good. There is food there as well, a buffet style set. On the smaller side, there is karaoke. That is a party in It's own right! Byob back there as well, but there is a full bar there as well. The karaoke DJ has ANY and EVERY song you can imagine, so prepare to have a good time. Police are there to help with security. There was no cover charge when I came at 8pm. And it was ALREADY a good sized crowd. Nice place to go to on their dance karaoke nights. Great food for affordable prices. Nice events. Laid back atmosphere. Not sure if they still have karaoke here regularly, but when they did, it was no charge to get in like most Karaoke spots, held on Fridays, & super fun. I could’ve been fine without all the dance breaks between songs which kind of dragged on the night out and took away more singing opportunities for customers, but I normally had a good time here. I’d usually bump into karaoke regulars from other spots that we mutually frequented throughout the area. On the other side of this venue, they sold a very good quality inexpensive and very satisfying buffet. I believe it was for about $5-$10. It was always super delicious.
