C-Crab Restaurant — Restaurant in Maryland

Camp Springs, C-Crab is my new favorite happy hour! The vibe in this place was amazing - it’s huge, has that fun seafood pirate ship decor, and a nice bar area. There are TVs everywhere and loads of seating and from what I can tell is super clean and organized.

When I visited C-Crab, we got there for happy hour which runs from 3-6pm. There were only drink items on the happy hour menu, which I’d encourage them to include some food options as well, but the appetizers were pretty cheap so I can’t complain much.

We ordered the crab balls, house sweet and spicy wings, and hush puppies. The food came out super fast and hot! The crab balls came with tartar sauce which was delicious to me, but also a side of the sweet and spicy sauce to dip the crab balls in. A perfect idea. The crab balls were super crispy and not greasy. They were pop-able bites that were perfectly sized. The wings were crispy and that house sauce don’t play! They were also only $6. By the time we got to the hush puppies, we’d had two margaritas… but they did what they were supposed to do which was sustain us!

Speaking of the margaritas, the bartender was very friendly and made delicious drinks. There were different flavor margaritas but we ended up getting mango and passion fruit. The bartender asked us first - do we like to taste the flavor or the liquor. All I can say is our answer had me looking at margarita #2 in shock :).

Tonight was my second time dining with you. Last Sunday, I encountered the same bartender as tonight. I believe her name is Kia. She was very rude and unprofessional both times. Last Sunday, we were going to order mussels but only had a drink. Tonight, the bartender took my sister's order and walked away as if I was not there. We had to call her to come back to take my order. She replied, saying we shared an order the last time. However, we didn't get food the last time as that was my first time there. I ordered a drink and showed her my ID on my phone. She stated she couldn't take the ID on my phone, but she was going to do it that time. When it was time to pay, she quoted us both a total and gave us no receipt. We both paid, and while we were thinking of a tip to give her, she walked up demanding extra money from us both as if we didn't just pay. She couldn't give us an explanation and proceeded to call us broke while singing Brokey by Latto. She then calls the police on is after we ask for a manager. If this a manager, this company has poor judgment on people they hire, and this business will not flourish. The police told us she was wrong for how she came at us demanding extra money and told us we needed to speak to a manager. Then she tells us we were banded from the business because she couldn't explain why we had to pay extra. Her presence and attitude are very disturbing.
