ALDI — Local services in Morton

I always have a quarter in my pocket ready for Aldi! Out of the Greater Peoria area, this Aldi is our favorite (we live in West Peoria, but are in Morton often). This location is perfect. We hit Aldi, F&F, and Walmart right there in one go. We aren't just grab a few things kind of Aldi shoppers, but the kind that fill a cart and maybe need a second one. We shop for two weeks worth of food at a time and get just about every item we need with one stop at Aldi. Always a clean, well organized store. Customer service is fantastic. My kids help me shop and sometimes there are spills/leaks. The employees have great attitudes! They quickly help to clean things up and reassured my little guy that it was only an accident. Even on the day we had three messes! Usually that would make for a bad day, but seriously, the employees were absolutely incredible. Great food selection and quality. I made sure to come to Aldi's on the grand opening day and I tell you what it was the nicest one I've ever seen! I really liked the new layout of the store and it wasn't crowded at all, there was plenty of room for carts to get through. They even expanded the area where the freezer food is which gave more room for people to get through also. Nick just happened to be my cashier tonight and come to find out he's actually the manager and he's worked there longer than everybody else. They were doing a great job at keeping the Lines Moving and people really weren't waiting long at all. Nick was very polite and it was refreshing to have great customer service! Love this place! It's close to me, it's not so huge I need roller skates, the selection is adequate. I can get a decent bottle of merlot for $2.99. I looked up who bottles the winking owl merlot for aldi and it's none other than Ernest and Julio Gallo weird. Yogurt, milk, eggs, fresh produce, cheese and meat always in stock, fast checkouts, easy parking and the prices are the best around. You go Aldi! Yes, I'm a fan. Update, still fabulous 🤩

Update, I couldn't find street corn or the apple strudel. I can live without the corn but am uncertain about not having a hot apple strudel. Let's get that back in the freezer please...
