A name change and new signs doesn't help the terrible service and the worst gas pumps I have ever dealt with. You polish a turd it's still at turd. First off, the entire inside of the store is covered in dust. Even the drinks in the cooler have to be wiped off before you can take a sip. Second, the service is awful. Half the time there is more than one person behind the counter, but only one person ringing out customers. The other person is usually standing their smoking right next to where the food is sitting. Don't get be started on the food. If you catch it at the right time, it's actually good. But most times the potato wedges are rock hard from sitting out. Lastly, the gas pumps are the worst. There are only ever 4-6 out of the 8 available. 3 of these that are working are the slowest in the world. I literally only put $5 in my tank if I am low just to get me to the next town because I can't sit there for 10 minutes. Lazy customers like to park right at the front door and sometimes block you in while you are at the pumps parallel with the door. The parking lot is a joke in general because all of the spots are diagonal on one side with little to no room for other cars, which makes getting into and out of the pumps/parking spots a challenge. Oh, did I mention the nice convenient pay at the pump option? I hope you didn't want that receipt because you get a nice little message "Clerk has Receipt" after each fill up. Horrible! I stopped in to shop and use the restroom. The employee restroom (that the cooks and others use) has NO paper towels, nor empty paper towel dispenser, nor hand dryer. Does the cook use the towel at his waist to dry his hands after using the restroom then?? I went to purchase 6 boxes of old water softener powder that had a thick layer of dust. Saw it was from 2005, originally sticker priced at 5.99 but after 19 years it was reduced to $1.99 as marked with magic marker on each box. The "manager" wanted to charge me $7.99 each!! No thanks. This store is a little higher to priced but is worth it because of the family friendly employees. Their fried chicken tenders are great and the employees are always friendly and if needed will answer any question. Worth the expense because of the one on one treatment. Have never had to stand in line for more then a couple minutes unlíke the bigger with a million cashier lines but only have one or...
