Moved to Moultrie from Atlanta almost 2 years ago. I've tried to understand this store's employee's but it's impossible. I come here because I loved roses as a kid. I spent my summers here with my grandparents. But 30 years later it has changed to a place that scares me and gives me anxiety. For the1st year everytime I leave this store after checkout the alarm goes off..come to find out it's my purse being a Michael kors is why. So they get to stop me grab my purse get loud so everyone is staring. I've never stolen in my life.. but they make me feel like a criminal. Of course nothing is stolen but they get to humiliate me and I guess that makes them feel important. Then one day a new employee said it's my purse and wallet having a sensor that needs to be turned off and she would do that for me.. that was all it needed.. I thanked her so much. Now I know all those other girls knew that too but chose not to tell me because they get some kind of rush out of stopping me and yelling.. And I never saw that girl again.. I'm sure she got in trouble for helping me because I saw the other employees stop what they were doing to look at her helping me.. They make it their mission to seek me out and make sure I leave in tears. I ask for help getting a window unit out of my buggy. The sweet new girl checking me out asked the manager to get some help for me with the window unit. And the manager looks at me and laughs Tells me "no one can help you and says get it out the same way you got it in there". Well your assuming I got it in there.. maybe someone helped me. Of course someone helped me get it in my cart. But now she will make sure no one helps me. A customer did come to my rescue when they saw me struggling. I'm 4'11 and 100lbs. The time b4 that I was in roses the manager yells at me from across the store. I think she cant be yelling at me but of course she was. I needed to get in a different line. Even though it was about to be my turn and I had been waiting. But I finally realized she was yelling at me and i just changed to another line to wait some more. The cashier even looked and said its OK I can check her out..but the Manger yelled louder no she has to get in another line.. I just switched b4 the manager could make an even bigger scene but there was no reason to switch...Im always a happy person and I love to meet new people. I just can't go into this store ever again. Looks like I'm entertaining this behavior and makes them think it's acceptable behavior when in fact it is absolutely NOT acceptable behavior..so you win roses. Don't worry I'm never coming back again. I don't have to understand why. My sister told me along time ago "I was a unicorn and people don't know what to do when they see one because they've never seen a unicorn b4...so they freak out but once they know you..they'll love...
Read moreI hope that in this store soon they can have a sign that says "People without a social or without a drivers license should not buy these products in this store because we will not be doing refunds or store credit to these kind of people we will not accept any other kind of ID except for a social or drivers license" I had a very bad experience today trying to exchange a product I bought , they told me I could get store credit so I went on about and wasted my time , it turns out that once I found the product I wanted they told me to show them a drivers license or a social , and I did not have one so I asked them if I could show them a different ID and they were very rude to me and said no. Never EVER have I ever had a problem exchanging something in any store , they always accepted the ID I had , they were always very nice . I have never felt so HUMILIATED , the manager was the one who told me and was very rude to me while saying so , She said that people who let others exchange things with a different ID other than a license or a social cannot exchange things or get store credit . I loved shopping there and now after this very by far most awful expirience I will NOT ever shop there again , and I will let the people I know not to shop there too . I will like to speak to someone about this , because this cannot be happening they need to put a sign on...
Read moreI had not been to our local Roses in a while and was pleasantly surprised with how neat and clean it was compared to the past. HOWEVER! When we were in line to check out, which I admit was long and moving quite slowly. We let a lady behind us go around us because I’m in a wheelchair and I couldn’t move over. The checkout lady at the register went berserk! And started yelling at the young lady that she couldn’t go ahead of me! I kept trying to tell her: No,it’s okay! I told her to go ahead! But,the cashier wouldn’t listen and just kept on fussing at the young lady! I was embarrassed for the woman! This occurred a couple of months ago, now. I just plain forgot...
