Hook Fish And Chicken — Restaurant in Moultrie

If you want a short review, here it is. This place is great ! The restaraunt was neat and clean.The employees were awesome ! The food was great, and a real value for the money. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience. Okay, here is the whole review: I can't begin to say enough about this restaraunt or the people who work there. Today was my dad's 85th birthday and he chose to try Hooks Fish and Chicken, for his birthday dinner. What an awesome experience ! First of all, the restaraunt was very neat and clean, from the parking lot to the inside. Tiffany and Moesha were our Customer Service Representatives. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, this being our first time visiting. I had mentioned to them about dad's birthday, just in conversation. Then, Jordan (the owner), walked up to the front counter, to check on things, and we had just a short, friendly conversation, while I was waiting for our food. I left the counter to get our drinks, and before I set them on the table and turned to go back to the counter area, Tiffany and Moesha were bringing it out to our table.The food was awesome ! Thank you to Fadi, our cook, tonight. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared just as we ordered it. Not to mention the large portions we recieved. A great value for the money. My dad, my husband and I ate, and took home leftovers for under $28. In addition to the great service and food, about half way through our meal, one of the ladies came out from the service area, bringing red velvet cake, to us for dad's birthday ! That just made his night ! Thank you all so much ! We have found a new favorite place to eat in...

In the area, I decided to give them another visit. Went with the #14 Gizzard & Liver with fries. Store clean, dining area clean, men's room clean. Air conditioning was comfortable. The gizzard / liver plate was overflowing. The fries were minimal. The gizzards, livers, and fries were great. The only negative is the ketchup packages. Too small. A bottle of ketchup for dine in would be nice.

2022 ☆☆☆☆ Okay, not the greatest facility. Doors open, which always creates an insect problem. The prices on the sign are incorrect. I was looking for a chicken gizzard/liver dinner. I was in luck. I ordered their chicken/liver dinner with fries. The amount of gizzard and liver was overwhelming. There was enough for two grown men. The french fries were a major disappointment. They use frozen crinkle cut fries. The number of fries was substandard, and all were 1 inch or less in size. Then there was a powder covering everything. I couldn't make out the taste. The cashier stated it was lemon pepper. It was interesting. The livers were very good, and the gizzards were slightly overcooked but still good. If in the area, I will...

In Moultrie with husband who was admitted. Looked for something to swing by and get something worth eating. Saw this place online and reviews were good so why not!?? Local chains just aren't always best. Ordered Flounder/shrimp plate with fries (Awesome). Added side order of zucchini (Awesome/the flavor!!). About $16 with tax. LISTEN!!... If it's not good... I'm not gonna eat it (maybe a few bites). NICE PORTIONS. AWESOME FLAVOR. Reminded me of food at a family reunion when all the good cooks come together...lol In drive-thru about 10 min after ordering (cooked to order) with 4 cars ahead of me and the cars kept coming! Black.. white... I've lady looked Asian so safe to say these folk are doing something right. Awesome food service score (94 i believe). They sprinkle some sort of seasoning on it after preparing for you so if you don't want that just ask (no worries). I want it how it comes and can't wait to go back... even with the 30min drive from home. WELL DONE!! HAPPY TO SUPPORT OH (PICS) ... had already started...
