New China Buffet — Restaurant in Moultrie

Original Review at the bottom: (This edit Jan, 2024) Ok, I have given this restaurant too many chances. This was a restaurant we would come as children growing up but it has throughout the years gotten worse and worse. We have found hairs in the food and other things and promised to ourselves to not come back but have given this place many second, third, fourth chances....but tonight really was the last and I hope others can follow suit and not come here. We found three huge roaches when we were sitting down. One came out of under their fridge and two from under their kitchen door. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! I don't know how this place is still open, this was once a staple of our town but instead of keeping the place clean and inviting for nostalgia they keep raising the prices, worsening the food and having a nasty place to eat and Lord knows how it is in the kitchen where we can't see.....avoid this at all times

This place is a must go to if you're looking for Chinese food. I live 30 miles away and will come here just for the food because I don't have anywhere decent with true-blue Chinese buffet food where I live. It's all questionable and unclean here. So I have been in search for years.....

This restaurant is a yes! It is clean. The outside looks questionable but when you're inside it's so different. The staff is so friendly and they give you a glove if you choose to use the buffet. My little OCD heart was so happy. I sat outside scrolling through reviews until I saw someone say it was clean inside. If you're looking for that as well here is your sign to go or go inside.

It's a good place but the food isn't as much . The fried shrimp , the batter isn't cooked all the way . The meats are sometimes way undercooked . Most food don't have salt or any seasoning . When the food is freshly served , it's the best , otherwise it has a weird cold after taste . As for the seafood, the shrimp tastes as if its been stored for months and has this bad fishy type of taste . Same for the crawfish, oysters , and crab that they out out from time to time. It just tastes like it's going bad. I recommend going here of you're really that hungry . As of right now with covid , they're very safe but they now charge you extra of you don't finish the serving on your plate . Again , I recommend coming here only of if you're that hungry...
