Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences — Attraction in Mount Holly Township

The Burlington County Lyceum is a cool and unique museum focusing on local history and science. There is a community room in the Lyceum you can rent for events. We rented the community room for our small wedding recently and it worked out wonderfully! The rental process was simple and was able to be done entirely online on the Burlington County parks catalog website. I also like how the website has a calendar where you can view the availability of the space. As for the community room itself, it has a handicap accessible entrance with 2 large restrooms, a kitchen, and a brick patio/lawn area. It was cool seeing the museum exhibits in the surrounding rooms so there were interesting things to look at and explore. We were able to set up our table and chair rentals the day before our wedding and then take them back the following day which was great. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I attended a wedding there recently and the officiant was very rude and unprofessional. I will forever have video of this so called “officiant” ruining what was supposed to be a special ceremony. I hope there are other places for people in Mt. Holly to marry beside here. If this woman is an elected official? Time for a change....
