I visited Rebel's Roost Antique Emporium on 7/3/23 with my family and the staff nembers were extremely rude from the moment we walked in the door. They seemed bothered and annoyed when we asked to see items in a cabinet. They even refused to open a cabinet for another customer there that was going to purchase an item. Then, as we were walking around 20 minutes before their posted closing time, the lights began to turn off on us and the staff was going around gathering everyone up to leave.
After we left, we decided to give it another chance on 7/4/23 as we didn't get to walk through the whole store before it closed early. We went back with hopes the staff would be kinder, but we were met with the same attitude and unwillingness to help from two different staff members. We had some huffing and puffing from one after we asked to see an item.
I wish I read the ratings before going there. Just seeing the way that the business responds to their online reviews is a testament to how they are in-person. They should be learning from these reviews rather than attacking the customer who writes it.
On the brighter side, HAPPY...
Read moreMy husband and I are so happy we made it out to the Antique & Vintage Outdoor Market/Warehouse Sale! There was so much fun and unique items to see and of course buy, HaHa, and the prices were fairly reasonable. Not the cheapest vendor sale I've been to, but certainly not unreasonable in any way; The product quality was well worth it! There was everything from vintage decor and baseball cards, to quilts, tables, jewlery furniture and all tons of other things in between! I'd also like to take a moment to mention and extend a huge thank you to the hard work involved in not just thr creation of the products, but the dedication to unloading and loading your vendor set-up, especially in the muddy mess. I'm really looking forward to the next event in May... Perhaps there could even be one this this fall with a harvest and Halloween inspired items đđ I without a doubt recommend this event to anyone looking for a family friendly (actually, an all around friendly atmosphere)...
Read moreThis was to me a waste of time. To drive there to a place that had no parking accomodations for that many people for a festival event with it said 60 vendors and a 2 bathroom accommodation and by that I mean litterally 1 toilet for each men's and women's. Everyone had to park along the busy York street and walk about at least 1/4 maybe to 1/2 of a mile and the police were ticketing cars and plenty of them too. If I do return I sure will not be on one of their festival days and will not stop unless there is parking in their very small lot. We could hardly stop to look at anything inside the building because people wanting passed and the aisles are small meant for a regular everyday customer, no crowd to go through. I'm sure they have some nice things but couldn't ...
