My daughter and I started shopping at Lizard Thicket in Mt. Juliet when they first opened in their original Providence Marketplace location across from Books a Million. We have found some really cute clothes there but what keeps us going back is the customer service. This week I found myself back at Lizard Thicket shopping for my daughter’s senior pictures. I was there Monday morning only hours before her photo shoot trying to pick up something for her to wear. I felt she needed one more look, preferably a cute short dress. I did not have my daughter with me but Ellie and Regan were so so helpful. Regan showed me the perfect short brown dress. It had just come in as part of the fall collection. Ellie knows my daughter and we both felt the dress would look great on her. The dress was a little wrinkled as it had just been unpacked and knowing that I had limited time, Ellie suggested that they steam it for me so that it would be ready to go. Regan jumped right to the task and by the time I was done checking out, Regan handed me a perfectly wrinkle free dress. Regan said her senior pictures had only been one year beforehand and so she was eager to help out. Ellie has helped us on several occasions and it really feels like a personal shopping experience. It isn’t like just shopping at a department store, the customers service is much more personal. Add that to the fact that the prices for their dresses are 1/2 the price of other retailers and you will understand why we like Lizard...
Read moreMy step-mom’s Christmas gift to me this year was a vest from here that cost $84 after tax but it didn’t fit me. I called to make sure I could get a full credit and was told YES! I went in and showed my receipt to return the unworn item with tags attached and the employee had to call her supervisor, and then I was told that since that item was on sale I would only be getting a $25 store credit. Times are tough! Come on! This is something typical of a return without a receipt but I do not think it was fair for my family to spend $84 at your store in mid November and then two months later, return LESS than a third of the money she paid to your company (in the form of a credit of course). Had two other items at register to buy and put them back. Won’t be going back....
Read moreOne of my favorite stores to shop at is Lizard Thicket. Regardless of whether I am browsing or looking for an outfit for a specific occasion, the sales associates are attentive and helpful. They are also helpful with finding clothes that meet my personal style. Katie, the manager, unboxed some of the new spring clothes because she thought I would like several of the dresses. She was right! The variety of clothing is another wonderful aspect of this store. They only stock six sizes of an article of clothing. The stock is constantly changing. The store stands behind their clothing. I bought a shirt, and the shoulder seam ripped the first time I wore it. Katie apologized and sent the shirt out to be repaired at no cost to me! Highly recommend...
