This place deserves negative stars.
If you're new to the area then this review won't make sense. If you've been here for a while (before the shutdowns) then this review is for you. Besides obviously bowling, this place has suffered and is not worth your hard earned cash.
We just left there and there is a wait to bowl (they didn't know how long the wait). We weren't bothered by that. We thought, "that's okay, we'll just grab something to eat." We looked up at that menu on the screen and thought, "where is the rest?" (Please look at older reviews and photos of their menu, then it will make sense.) There is no semblance of the menu I remember. All you will get here is deep fried frozen junk, pitiful pizza, popcorn ($8 for a large, what?!), nachos (basic with just cheese and jalapeĂąos). I've seen consession stand that would put this place to shame. The specialty burgers you remembered, nope, tacos, gone, wings, you're dreaming. They even used to have an amazing variety of salads that would put most sit down resturants to shame (I know, salad at a bowling alley, but yes). We thought, well we'll grab nachos, bowl a game and grab food at one of the other places on base. This is when it got stupid. There is a register at the counter and a guy hovering around it. I go up to order and he tells me that I have to go wait and order from the ridiculously long line that is doing bowling game and shoe orders. Lemon wasn't worth the squeeze. We just walked out.
If you run this place: you have a lot of work to make it what it once was (especially the food and service).
For everyone else: EAT BEFORE YOU COME! If you're not depending on the convenience of the location, then I would say...
Read moreLooking for a fun activity with our family before Thanksgiving, we chose bowling. The prices were definitely cheaper than commercial locations. The place was clean with stations every few lanes with balls organized by color and weight. There were ramps available for anyone to use if necessary. There is also the ability to set bumpers to raise and lower for an individual in your group. You have the ability to edit your score, which is great because a few times pins would fall on their own and add to the score. There were options for scoring using regular bowling rules or other fun games. While we didnât eat there, but there were plenty of food and drink selections. My only issue was the balls were very oily and the finger holes were very small. Staff said thatâs how they were ordered but offered me a small container of baby...
Read moreWe had a great time there and paid 1/4 of what we wouldâve paid at a commercial bowling alley. It was so organized and I was impressed each lane had their own rack of balls and they were organized by weight! Each lane also had a ramp for kids to use (itâs tucked in between the chairs if you canât find it). And you can set gutter bumpers individual to each person in your game, and they go up and down seamlessly. And what caught my attention most was that while we were there the womenâs bathroom was out of service due to plumbing issues. But staff immediately sprang to action and guarded the menâs bathroom and put up a tape barricade when a woman needed to go in the menâs room. Excellent service and we will...
