This Starbucks on Fort Belvoir is absolutely gorgeous! It’s incredibly spacious, with tons of seating options that make it perfect for working, studying, or meeting up with friends, family, or colleagues. In the center of the store, there’s a stunning long hardwood table that seats 8–10 people, giving it a warm and welcoming communal feel.
There are also several regular café-style tables, along with tall two-person bar tables (I think they're called "high-top tables"), offering a great variety depending on what you’re looking for. Along the back wall, there's a beautiful, vibrant mural with bright greens, reds, pinks, yellows, and whites, creating a lively, cheerful atmosphere. In front of the mural, there’s a row of cozy cushioned leather seating with small tables and nearby outlets, although one of the two outlets isn't currently working, and it would be nice if more were added in the future.
One of my favorite spots is near the fireplace, where there are four rustic leather lounge chairs and a circle of six stylish octagonal coffee tables, creating the perfect cozy corner for relaxing with a drink. They even have a Fallen Soldier Memorial Table, which is such a touching tribute and a meaningful detail you don’t often see in cafés.
The location itself feels like a hidden gem. It’s nestled along a gorgeous, lush street that looks like a little downtown New England village. There are charming shops nearby, cobblestone pathways around and behind the plaza, and park benches surrounded by lush plants and flowers. If you want to sit outside, there’s plenty of outdoor seating too. Plus, there’s a giant parking lot just across the street for easy access.
The employees here are always so kind, not just to customers, but even to my little dog when I bring him by. Their friendliness and attention to detail really add to the welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, this Starbucks is such a lovely spot whether you’re looking to work, study, grab coffee with friends, or just enjoy a peaceful afternoon. Highly recommend checking it out if...
Read moreThis particular Starbucks has three nice seating areas, and is quite cozy. There are tables and chairs (regular cafe-type seating arrangement), and another one with cozy chairs and couches that invites you to enjoy your beverage in a more relaxing way. The drawback for me was that there is no menu! Half the time I come in without knowing what kind of drink I'm in the mood for, and I actually look at the wall-menu to decide. In this particular place there is no menu, only specials were advertised. Also took me a few seconds to figure out where to order/pick up, there is no clear indication of where the line begins, and there was no one at the register so I got a little disoriented for a moment. Overall the place is nice and my coffee was delicious, and service was nice...
Read moreI Always order the brown sugar oatmilk cortado. My favorite because of the strong taste of "Real coffee." This day, the guy who made my coffee only filled my cup half full. The coffee was not strong as how I always get it at other starbucks locations, a little light on the brown sugar. I asked him to add more brown sugar and he wanted to give me regular white sugar, then I also asked to fill the remaining half of my cup with oatmilk, but he poured the cream half and half on my cup instead of the oatmilk! NOT ACCEPTABLE! With the kind of money I pay for a very small cup of coffee, I...
