I used to love coming to this Starbucks, but recently, the quality has taken a nosedive. For weeks, they were constantly out of cold brew, which was already frustrating for regulars like me who count on it. Now that they finally have it “in stock,” it tastes nothing like cold brew—more like regular coffee, as if they’re trying to pass off an inadequate substitute instead of making a fresh batch. To make matters worse, the cold brew we ordered today was burnt and bitter, barely drinkable. This has become a consistent issue that has made me reconsider coming back. There were no pastries in the display case. I was disappointed and didn't get a chance to ask if they were sold out or what. The 5 people behind me only ordered drinks and there were 2-3 take out orders as well. Found it confusing that the take out (order ahead) is in same location as where we were waiting for in store orders. Got a bit crowded at one point but everyone was very courteous. I picked up a beautiful pride cup but it doesn't keep my water on ice for very long (a couple hours, maybe) so was disappointed that I cannot use it on the golf course. This is the quietest with the least traffic - the perfect ambience - Starbucks in Fort Belvoir. There are hardly any lines. Comfortable and spacious seating areas inside and outside.It is located in the town center by other outdoor shops in a very peaceful setting.

The staff are professional, amicable, and accommodating. They will make my drinks frozen with blended ice & sugar free for my preferences. Thursdays are always buy one get one free beverages.
