I just really feel like I wasn't being listened to the entire time. I've had GI problems severely since February, it took some time to get in to be seen, which is okay, I understand they're busy. When I did get seen, I was asked 'so you're here for heartburn'. Um, no, I have heartburn but have not complained of it. I got scheduled for an upper endoscopy nearly two months away. I was a little disappointed, I was very uncomfortable, but I said I understood. They just didn't show any compassion throughout everything. I'm still highly uncomfortable, I've had my endoscopy and was told to keep doing what I've already been doing. I am hoping that it will eventually start working, and maybe the doctor didn't believe that I already had. Maybe he didn't even know because I spoke to him for about 2 minutes before I was sedated for the endoscopy and have had no contact with him at all otherwise. And most of that was him asking 'so you're here for heartburn' 😔 *Update I went to a GI doctor down in Heber Springs and found out I have a large Type 3 paraesophageal hiatal hernia, my esophagus isn't tightening properly, and I had the indications for Barrett's esophagus. None of this was seen, tested and/or addressed at this clinic. I am now scheduled for partial fundoplication and hiatal hernia surgery down Heber Springs the 25th of this month. This place is one of the worst places I went to to try and get help. 6 months later and I'm finally getting some help, no thanks to this clinic. I understand they don't personally take care of hiatal hernias, but really, how hard would it have been to get me a referral? I truly believe no one here...

The lady on the phone starting laughing at my sickness saying it's not funny but I don't know why I'm laughing.. After thousands of dollars and many tests every appointment is a 5 minute conversation about try this. Well I tried all these things well try this. Never listen to anything you say and only want to see you 5 minutes to get their co pay. Very unprofessional and very pointless place if you have any medical issues.. Never going here again. Googling your issues will be more helpful and save you thousands...
Read moreHad a colonoscopy. One month later emergency surgery to remove a foot of my colon because of a grapefruit size ulcer. Almost died. Now I have colostomy bag and 27 inch scar down my front. You'd think they either would have seen the beginnings of this or caused it. I should have known something was wrong as I had colon drainage right after colonoscopy. Not sure if this is all to blame but I wanted to share and make people aware of things...
