I bought a huge sectional sofa that would not fit in just any living area because it was so big. It had a matching ottoman that was about 3 ft. square, which is the reason my grandson's chose the set. The service was outstanding! The quality of the sectional was less than fair. The back of the lounger stretched do out of shape that when you say back on the lounger, you sat on the material. They tried to repair it, but short of remaking that section, was impossible. On the other end, a board broke, so when you sat on that seat, the board pushed to the back. In turn, the arm on that end, just pushed down like it was on a spring. The ottoman just sank down in the center. I went back about two weeks after I bought the sectional and special ordered two twin beds with drawers underneath. They weren't cheap, either, only the workmanship. The slats were made out of luan, I assume. They had to come and take pieces of both beds to strengthen them. They also replaced the slats, as they did me a favor. The beds were $800 each, without a mattress. We are still using them 3 years later. The sectional was on sale for $1999.00, ottoman separate. The sectional has been in the trash for a year. I couldn't sell it. I used it one year for $1000. a year. I have paid $299. for a sofa on two separate occasions, just to have something temporary and both of those couchs are still being used by male college students, so you can imagine. A Wednesday 10:00am-12 delivery window was scheduled/arranged. Since my Aunt is deaf, I was there for the purchase and made arrangements to be there for the scheduled delivery time. By 1: 00 pm my Aunt was tuckered out and ready for a nap since she purposely got up at 8:00 to prepare for the delivery time. By 1:00 , we had no delivery/ no phone call. She reluctantly went to nap. The delivery guys arrived right at 2 and did a wonderful job. I left this review because everyone’s time is valuable. The owner did to his credit call to apologize for the inconvenience but did not see the value of our time and asked me to take down the low rating review. I refused because our time is just as valuable as his regardless of any miscommunication. He informed me he would dispute the claim and have it taken down since I was not the actual buyer. ( Please note my Aunt would never have even bought the chair had I not drove her to pick out a chair, and agreed to be there for the delivery. She can’t hear or get around very well.) The owner did explain the desk employees mistakenly told me the wrong delivery schedule, but I think the manager should make an effort to have all his departments on the same page in this regard since the customer doesn’t speak with the delivery men. At a 2k purchase price point I think customers deserve /should be able to expect-streamlined professionalism between service departments. I went to Butlers looking for the perfect sectional couch for my living room. Nick assisted me and was very patient working with me. He was up front on what he thought would best suit my house (dogs and cat). Even after I left the store, he kindly answered every question I still came up with. The first sectional I picked out was as soft as a rabbit. I’m a spontaneous shopper and didn’t measure my walls/space before I picked the couch. The day before it was set to be delivered I called him and let him know that particular couch was going to be too big and I needed to cancel my delivery. He was completely understanding and told me to go back up and find another one. He knew I had been wanting a sectional for years. The day I went back up, he was off work. This time I spoke with Danielle. She was just as friendly and helpful. She sat down with me and figured out the size of couch I needed and got it ordered for me. They put me on the schedule for it to be delivered, but I was so excited. I just went and picked it up. The quality of the furniture is great. The cushions seem like they are going to hold up very well And I am going to have it for quite some time. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service and attention.
