First, I want to say I was happy the store was open again! Also, excited about all the sales! There were 6 staff members working which I believe three were managers or leads. They only had one register open and there were more than 5 people in line. I had a return which slowed things down because you could tell that the associate working was new and was uncertain of how to do the return. The manager Bailey was TERRIBLE! Not helpful to the associate.
Then I had to touch the return because they couldn’t touch it due to COVID... Which I understood - but didn’t at the same time because in order to do the transaction they had to touch the receipt which was in the same bag as the return. It was also in my home. They also touched all the clothes I just tried on and the clothes I was purchasing. So that procedure makes no sense to me when you think of the whole picture. Then watching 5 associates (3) managers /leads stand around talking and watching the associate struggled. I was frustrating especially when there was a line. Someone could have been helping her by folding and bagging and be there for the questions she had... I felt bad for the cashier as you could tell she was nervous because she kept playing with her button on her jean jacket. I have been to many Maurice’s stores. I love the products, the quality etc... but I hate going to this location! They are rude, unwelcoming, and just oblivious to how an experience should be! I have managed a Bath and Body Works, Coldwater Creek, Guess, Juicy Couture, and a few other places. So my knowledge is high of when I see a bad crew working. The store manager should not be a manager nor should Bailey at this location. I will continue to only shop online and wait to go to a different location after today. I hope someone does something about this location. It’s sad to see this especially with little options here... trust me when I say their sales aren’t t high bEva use of their customer service. They are high because the demand is high and the options are low...
Read moreI had the best experience! I exchanged some jeans I got online at the store in Mt iron. Kenzie was a trooper. I brought jeans in. Exchanged a pair and reordered another pair. I paid off my card and then I was confused. Kenzie spent geez maybe 15 min trying to explain to me the whole thing. She came up with 5 or 6 dif ways to illustrate to me the whole confusing transaction. I hate shopping and I had the best time with the girls!!! She wouldn’t let me leave until I got it.
