What a wonderful experience and great company. After a break in, we called Christy at Absolute Security and she was at our home within a few hours. She was extremely knowledgeable about the product and explained what we needed. I never felt any sales pressure or that she tried to get us to buy more than we needed. She also understood that we wanted the alarm installed ASAP, and worked to make that happen. Ron installed our system the following morning and was quick, professional and also knowledgeable. Absolute Security then worked their magic - yet again - and had us online and monitored later that day.
Absolute Security's alarm systems are state of the art (IPhone app, you can arm and disarm it remotely, you get a push notification when it is armed and disarmed, it can store up to 32 codes, etc.). The monitoring itself is performed by Monitronics, a national company that has received numerous awards.
Finally, one of the reasons we went with Absolute Security is that it is small, local business and we certainly saw the benefits of that. Absolute Security has only 4 installers all of whom are employees. They do not use independent contractors. Read moreI had this company come out to my business to see if they could help set up a NVR receiver with the cameras that were already in place. $50 charge to come out and they kept my card information on file. When the person who came out and arrived for the job, they had very little understanding of networking. I basically watched this person fail to connect the NVR receiver to the network and could not configure his own camera to a brand new receiver. After two hours I decided to just have him stop working because I wasn’t going to pay for this person to learn on my billed time. When he left, he tried to charge me in person when I had already asked them to keep my business card on file. The person was persistent that I pay him on his swiper he had in his phone. I called his boss and told him I had made it clear that the business card on file needed to be used and he assured me that they billed me for the time and the fee to come out. He said the additional camera was $450, and it would take 1.5 hours of work to install it 3 feet from the security box. RED FLAG. I've seen security systems for less than that price for the single camera. I asked him to take a picture of the camera. He tried to hide it, and ran out to his van. I googled it, and it's a $80 camera. Then proceed to threaten to cancel our secrity service if I didn't pay him $50 service call. This company should be ashamed of them self's.
