Port of Subs — Restaurant in Mountlake Terrace

Thought I'd try out Port of Subs for lunch since they were close. Customer service is non-existent, two ladies working behind the counter couldn't even muster a smile giving the impression they are upset to be working there. The menu is confusing and I tried asking questions about options and there were no explanations. I asked if they had a chicken bacon ranch and She started making my sandwich and then got annoyed when I asked for it toasted. Went to pay for it and the other lady rings up a turkey sandwich then answers the phone as I'm trying to ask why it says turkey and not chicken and she holds her hand up towards my face as I'm mid sentence giving me a stern look. At that point I just walked out, no point giving them money after such a poor interaction. Would not come back or even try another location since the bread and meat looked poor quality and the atmosphere felt like a rip off of subway and taco del mar which made no sense considering its a sub-par sandwich joint trying to sell 8"...

I haven’t been to a Port of Subs for about 20 years…yes, I am that old!!! This was during my community college days, and this cute and sweet little family owned one right next to the college I was attending. So, eating there on the regular was a must!

So, naturally, when I found it again…I had to check it out!!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted. The lobby and bathroom were very clean, which was impressive…especially during lunchtime!

The staff were friendly and genuinely asked about my days! This was refreshing, especially in an era where most people can’t bother to ask the question…at least not without feigning to care, lol!

The staff were also quick and efficient with creating their spectacular creations!

The creations themselves were delicious! There is just something to that warm, soft bread that always hits the spot!! Yummy!!

All and all, this Port of Subs hit the spot, and I can’t wait to go back and try...

Most disgusting sandwich I’ve ever attempted to eat everything I said don’t put on sandwich they put on the sandwich. Just the sandwich is just a soggy disgusting horrible creation of a sandwich and then when I called just to let them know that they screwed up the order the guy that answered the phone is dead. Wants to argue. You try to defend himself instead of just saying sorry you had a bad experience and your sandwich wasn’t made correctly so sorry that you just lost a customer forever. I’m sure it doesn’t bother you much since now you make less sandwiches losing customers but to the person that owns that store I don’t think that they’d like that very much you get a zero for...
