Great skating place with party space. Best place for kids birthday parties. To enter, we need to buy skaters at lest 1. Anyone who is interested in skating, this is perfect place. All kind of ages can do skating.
Appeared less parking lots but they are free.
They have 2 main doors to enter to into actual place. Once entered, they have a very small place where only 1 person can enter through at a time while standing in a queue, so someone sitting at entrance will check whether people coming on birthday party or just for skating.
Once entered inside after getting the skating token, we can get skaters and wear them.
Next to that they have a small cafe where food and beverages are served to purchase. They do have icee also which will definitely asked by kids. Pizza is available to purchase. They do accept all kind of payments.
Next, is restrooms with small place inside. Hand wash is outside of the restrooms so easy to access by all. Next, a small place for live music which is opened on specific days only. Next, play zone which are coin based. Next, all tables to seat and enjoy the food or watch people skating. They do have lockers for single time use which are coin based.
Next, the main tables for birthday parties. There were 2 parties at the same time. Each party had 4 tables. 2 tables for sitting and accommodate 10 people each. One table for for beverages and other table for pizza etc. For each party, they keep serving the pizzas, beverages, fruits which I think depends on the party request. They've 2 entrance to enter/exit into skating area. They do have free trainig holders which can be used by new skaters to balance. These can be taken based on the request at the entrance for free of cost where we get the skaters.
They keep the music on with party lights for skaters to enjoy and skate. They play some games also with the music and give some rewards for winners. Example of reward would be free ticket for next entry. For birthday party, they allowed total 3 hours to celebrate or skate. Food service was excellent...
Read moreThis has nothing to do with food products or prices understandable that the pandemic really impact the price and quantity of the product it's cooked to perfect taste
I however have other concerns that needs to be addressed and now could've been sooner the first thing I need to address is the hardwood floor
On Sunday night I skated on that floor it felt really bumpy rough it was really rough on my wheels when Brian and his wife were the managers they refinished 3-4 times a month or whenever needed
The other thing that needs tending to is the carpet not only it's not cleaned properly but in some spots it's deterring it seems that carpet is a little older than me every time I go on the carpet my wheels get filthy
Brian and his family were managers they would vacuum and deep clean that carpet after every event included Sunday night skate sessions Allen feels rushed and only does half of the cleaning still that carpet is dirty and barely deep steam cleaned enough it needs to be deep cleaned all the time
The hardwood floor needs to be refurbished and the carpet needs to be either deep cleaned or just replace it with hardwood floor
One other thing that needs to be replaced the old 1932 speakers that hang from the ceiling they need to be replaced due to people saying they had a hard time hearing announcements and the organ music on Sunday night it seemed that they were turned off so replace or repair is needed
Other than that love the rink food is excellent prices changed but still cheap enough to spend fries can use the small medium large or extra large sizes again
Other than that I love this place it's cleaned and well organized just before the world pandemic it got a fresh brand new paint job hopefully the floor and carpet gets...
Read moreI've been familiar with Fantasy pretty much all my life. I've been here many times for parties while growing up and now visit here occasionally during the public skating times. The pricing is fair, and I love the wooden floor. However, there are some things that kind of ruin the experience. The first one isn't hard to correct/change, but I really wish they would reconsider the volume of the music they play. It's just too loud in my opinion. I had to shout so the person next to me could hear me. You should know that hearing loss can occur at any age (I'm in my 30's and have hearing loss and tinnitus). When I go here I wear earplugs because I'm concerned the level of the music could make my condition worse. The other thing that makes skating less enjoyable is the kids (and some adults) that don't follow the rules. Like when they want to exit the rink, it happens too often that they will be towards the center and then just cut across everyone on their way out. I also see many going in the wrong direction. I went recently on a Saturday and the place was packed. I ended up colliding with two kids due to the things I mentioned above. There's less I guess that Fantasy can do about that besides making announcements or having an employee on the rink watching for this behavior. Parents today don't seem to want to parent. I think that they used to have an adult only skate, I wish they would bring it back as long as it's not too late in...
