Taco Bell — Restaurant in Muhlenberg Township

I've never been more disappointed with a fast food restaurant. Ordered through the app and paid online to get the food at the drive thru. Got there and ended up having to wait 15 minutes in line as they were really slow. Before we got to the order location, I placed a second order, as I had forgotten an item. Finally arrived to the speaker, and told them about my two orders, which they found. Then they told me that I could only get one order. Huh? They told me I had to drive around again to get the second order. I explained that I just waited 15 minutes, and they didn't care. I went to the pickup window and tried to get at least my main order. I tried asking for my second order, and was told it was "corporate policy" that I couldn't get it unless I drove around again, then they shut the window on me! I waited and they gave me a bag of food and no drinks. I asked for the drinks, and they yelled at me again, until I pointed out that they were part of the first order. They threatened to take the food back! They started handing me drinks, but through the clear cups, I saw one was wrong. I finally got my first order and the correct three drinks. I again asked about the second order and had the window closed on me, so I drove away. We parked and took out the food. They didn't put in any of the sauces that I specified on the app. One taco was wrong, and all of the hard shell tacos tasted old and dusty-like! Thus was the absolute worse taco bell food that I've ever had, and my family was very disappointed. I had frequented this taco bell many times in the past and had good food and friendly service. It's not often I bother to go out of my way and review a fast food joint, but this taco bell has earned this after my probable XX something visit. Now don't be mistaken, these 5 stars aren't for the Taco bell itself, cause lets be honest if you really want 5 star tacos you don't go to a fast food joint plain and simple; but this review is for the STAFF of this taco bell. Yall are great and deserve to hear it. Out of the many time Ive swung by to fix my craving I've met all sorts of interesting characters: Dude with green hair and a lively spark like no other, the funny gal at the rarely open first window laughing about how often people blow right by it, and the lovely women today who profusely apologized for my order being delayed because of a cranky customer. Yall need a solid thumbs up. The unfortunate side to being in a city location is the customer base. Everyone is cranky and thinks their $.99 taco needs to be served on a golden platter. I do enjoy taco bell, yes I'm aware there are more authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. I enjoy chain locations as you know what to expect when it comes to quality and taste. Odd that the location on 5th street seems to support employees bringing their kids in as its day care. Not a fan of this, it's a business not a day care. Dining area needs more attention to cleaning and stocking supplies. I have in the past had to tell management their dining area was filthy..took them about minutes until they came out to clean it. Also, they continue to play rap music while there are customers in the store. Some of it can be offensive. Last, the management does not enforce their own rules regarding cell phone use. I've see employees texting. Some were even on video calls. Very unprofessional. Aside from this, food has always been good. If you have the time, enjoy the meal as a dine in.
