Very disappointed with this store. We are from northern Indiana, and saw a listing through Facebook marketplace for a tub we urgently needed for a bathroom remodel. I called the store Friday May 24th, to confirm they still had the tub in stock. I also asked several times if they would be open Monday, May 27th. They confirmed they would be! They also posted the image provided on Facebook for updated holiday hours. We arrived at the store, Monday morning, only to see a paper on the door with doors locked, explaining they will be closed for Memorial Day. I understand being closed for a holiday, I don’t understand why they never listed anything via social media to update or why they told me only two days before they WOULD BE OPEN. We drove almost two hours to pickup one of their products, after several messages and phone calls, I haven’t heard anything back. Other customers arrived while we were there, also disappointed in the unexpected closure. As a business owner myself, I understand issues and mistakes happen, but I have yet to see any effort in them to make this right for us or even a simple apology. I would be happy to delete this negative review, or change my opinion of the store if they were to try to make things right. As of now, I don’t recommend purchasing from them. I'm so glad that we went with Openbox Appliances! We were able to get a NEW fridge at about HALF the cost from buying from a big box store. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous ordering a fridge online without seeing it in person or talking to a person face to face. Their website marked the dents clearly. Their communication was top notch! They even texted with shipping updates because I was having a hard time accessing the information. When the fridge arrived it was packaged and shipped professionally, as to not allow other damage. I was super pleased to find that the fridge was exactly what was described. Bonus! It had all of the cellophane and tape on it like it came straight from the manufacturer. I've never bought from a place like this and wasnt sure what to expect. The fridge came with the 1 year manufacturing warranty and they offer extended warranty options as well. I was very hopeful to get a nice washer for my family. All I care is that the clothes are clean and smell nice. I don’t care about a dent or scratch. However, after bringing the washer home, installing it with the stacking kit and all (hours invested) our washer does not wash well. The clothes smell so bad. On top of that the washer makes a banging noise even with the smallest load. Unfortunately, they only offer 30 days to return and with the amount of time to uninstall them, four kids, and other responsibilities, we haven’t had the time to get the washer returned.
