We enjoyed out first visit to Wizard's Keep Game and Hobby. The location was easy to find with Google Maps. We recieved a friend greeting by staff (the owner) as we entered and were asked if we needed any help finding what we were looking for. The store has a fairly large amount of retail space, affording quite a bit of room to maneuver around the room. Board games, miniatures games, RPG's, and card games (MTG) make up most, but there are also some sci-fi and fantasy movie items to be found, such as posters from popular genres. I was impressed with the well organized and significant amount of MTG cards for trade and sale in one long display case. Miniature table-top wargames fans will enjoy their selection from GW and Star Wars Legion. RPG miniatures fans will love their selection of pre-primed models as well. The rear portion of the building hosts a very large and airy gaming area that seemed taylored to card games, but could be used for tabletop miniatures games as well. Don't miss out on visiting this business to see what they have in store for your...
Read moreVery sterile environment the gentleman that runs this place is a joke. Isnt friendly at all and stated he didn't care for the items I brought in tried telling he pays about a few dollars for bulk and not really interested in any of the 2600 cards I had . He was randomly looking however didn't notice i had 3 very rare cards and tried to say he only pays about 2 bucks for 1 card that he happened to find. The other 2 were in sleeves and he didn't even give them a glance . This was a unique opportunity to see if this place was up to standard for purchases of items. It is not. The cards I have run between 50 -75 online and that's for ones not even in sleeves . When asked to review stores like this i am always cautious ⚠️.. Many people need to beware of places like this looking to make a quick buck .. It should of taken a good 18-30 minutes if he were a true collector however he was done in 9...
Read morewhen I visited this gamestore, I was immediately greeted with the following hostile sign. Upon entering and asking around, the owners detailed their hate for "proxying" and how they had a history with people "poaching business." however, after talking to players, it turns out these actively hostile owners have not only used these outdated and hypocritical rules to ban people from the gamestores, but also the grocery store and gas station. The crime these players did? Try to play in a library so they could afford to play. This is disgusting, vile, and the most awful gatekeeping I've ever heard of. It's also frankly illegal. Do not shop here, do not shop at any of...
