Long Meadow Commons — Local services in Mundelein

If we are talking about the Jewel Osco in the picture my most recent visit was sub-par. This isn't a huge deal however the only thing I can base my review on is customer service because other than that you grab your own groceries and go home so as there is only customer service to review them on and when I got to the register I know it was later in the night the cashier saw me standing there with my stuff on the belt walked right past me with an empty cart took her time to put it out by the exit doors I'm talking maybe like 2 or 3 minutes then takes her time walking back to the register which is right next to the door Doesn't greet me and then proceeds to ring my items it was really weird. She clearly saw me standing there waiting but the empty cart was more a priority. I think the customer before me left his shopping basket there for the same reason because he never came...

I really miss Dominick's, and Mariano's just is not convenient. We've had some bad experiences at Jewel recently. First, we were trying to find some Arugula salad. All the salad they had out were expiring on the day we were looking, except for one box... That one expired 10 days earlier... 🤮. Then, I was looking for some skirt steak at 6pm. I found one that had been packed 3 days ago - too old and I needed twice as much. So I went to the butcher to ask for more/fresher cuts, but he looked at me like I was crazy and said all they had was out, and the meat cutters left at 2pm, so he was not gonna go and do it.... Just not fresh food, poor...

We love to go to this jewel because the fresh veggies but , they need to work on their customer service , on Sat 8-14-21 as my husband paid for a case of beer the over 21 person helping cashier Lauren , after she scanned the case she ordered my husband to put it in the cart, he has a problem hearing so he didn't heard so she said again " she said again in the cart put it in the cart " and got really upset because he didn't listen the first time.
