Do not come here to have flooring installed!!! We just a bought our first house and my father in law recommended using Home Depot’s contractor to do our floors. Worst mistake of our lives. From the get go no one new what was going on and no one would call us and reach out to us to let us know when someone would be coming out to do the inspection on the floors. The lady in the flooring department would say to us when WE called (four different times)“she’ll leave them nasty notes” to get them to call us and schedule the inspection. Never ended up happening. The guy to do the tile still ended up coming out on march 11th didn’t do anything and told us that our tile that we hauled out to our house ourselves would be susceptible to cracking because of our joists. BUT no insepctor came out so how would we know that? The 12th comes around the tile guy comes back and barley does anything, keeps saying that it’s susceptible to cracking and there will be a height difference. We tell him we just want the tile to be done, Wednesday is here and I get home early and gives me the whole spiel about the height difference again. All he has done for two days is cut out the boards to go under the tile. I tell him we want to stick with the tile still. Mind you we were told our ENTIRE floor would be done on the 15th. Good joke that was, he finally finished it on 19th and still has to come back to put our toilet back into the half bath. Told us this morning(it’s the 22nd) he would do it at 8-8:30, I texted him asking if still planned on coming today he said “Later” these are the vague answers you get out of these people. And since our tile took so long now we have to reschedule our laminate being put in. Has the contractor AIS called us? Nope. We’ve called them and were told Home Depot told her to call them about our account before they scheduled our laminate. And she said she’d give me a call back after she called. Did I get a call back? Nope. I called her this morning and she said oh yeah you have a balance so they told me not to schedule it until it’s paid. What I don’t understand is why Home Depot didn’t call us and let us know we had another balance due and why AIS didn’t call me to let me know what was going on after she said SHE WOULD CALL ME BACK. I've done a couple orders online with the Home Depot app and set for pickup either the next day or definitely within 3 days. This particular trip I was at the Mundy Township Home Depot on Hill Rd. as soon as I went through the front entrance I asked I have an order to pick up and they sent me all the way down to the exit on the completely opposite side of the store. I've never been to this Home Depot before so I thought oh okay I walked all the way down there luckily something caught my eye a Ryobi battery powered weed whipper and leaf blower for $99.99 plus tax so I decided to get that and proceed to go pick up my vertical blinds. when I got to the very end exit I asked for my order and show them my email confirmation and they said "oh well we don't do that over here you have to pick up your orders down at the entrance... "I was just amazed but to Home depot's credit the manager or high-ranking Home Depot official stopped and actually called down there and was very stern with whoever told me to come all the way down here and then waste my time waiting in line only to be told to go all the way back to the other side of the store and she said that there is a misunderstanding on my part from well I don't really see how is a misunderstanding on my part or how I misunderstood ?? I came in the store I said I'm here to pick up an online order and they sent me down to the exit I mean wants to misunderstand about that? but anyway this store I'm sure had very good intentions they had a very good sale I ended up getting helped by two very nice gentlemen in the electronic battery tool section and it was a four-star experience I couldn't give it the five because of the confusion with the online order and where to pick it up but hopefully next time will be a five-star review. kudos by the way to whoever that Manager Womanbless her heart who is trying to help me and get to the bottom of all the confusion! So many things wrong with this place we bought a dishwasher and paid to have it installed because i was going to be on a business trip well my mom was here the first people said they couldn't installed it because the valve wouldn't shut off which I knew thir was nothing wrong with the valve because I was a plumber so they wanted to leave the dishwasher which my mom told them to take it back good Thang she did we found out if they drop it off they get paid and after two days we can't have anything done well when I get home my mom tells me the story and then she tells me a plumber is coming out for free well he said the same thing the valve was fine so they sent another guy out and he installed it but it didn't work so they ordered another dishwasher and two different guys come out to pull the bad one out and put in the new one well the guy started talking loud so I came in and he said the guy before him broke the cabinet and he wouldn't touch it so they took the new one back when I was gone on business again the guy that installed the first one said the guys before them didn't put down the levelers and broke the counter so he took the broke one out and put the new one in but no one fixed the counter so I decided to fix it myself I needed two things so who do I go to home depot I got what I need and went to the checkouts and this a large line so it takes 15 minutes to get to the checkout and all the self checkouts are down the person calls for people to come to the checkouts to help 29 minutes later I say forget it and leave So I look through my drawers at home and find an l bracket and small screws and fix the cabinet a week later I go back to home depot to buy a weed Wacker and they have everything blocked off the problem with this home depot is they are constantly blocking off sections for things they can do at night I'm done with home...
