My first impression was that the restaurant had a modern, minimalistic look. It was very clean. Good music played at the appropriate volume.
Very limited drink menu. Menu has a very good selection of Thai favorites and specialities, available in your choice of meat.
I had crab rangoon as an appetizer and ordered the curry with chicken as a combo meal. The hot and sour soup was deliciously spicy and every spoonful was perfectly balanced. The main entree was the best curry I’ve had in 15 years, if not the best curry I’ve ever had. Seriously. I eat out a lot and favor very flavorful, rich ethnic dishes. The portion size is quite large, easily two full meals for an average appetite. Just like the soup, the ingredients were balanced and the dish had just the right amount of fried rice, sauce, vegetables and meat. I asked for it hot, and it was just right, though it could have been hotter for my taste. Personally, if my nose isn’t running, I’d like it hotter, but I eat hot food regularly and I’m not sensitive to it. The food came out very promptly.
My dining partner had the pepper steak and it was almost as good as mine! The steak was tender and the sauce had amazing flavor.
The Chef came out to speak with us, which is something I value very much. I enjoy meeting the person that makes my food and thanking them personally.
A (dinner) meal for two - beverages, appetizer, and combo entrees (with leftovers) was about $30 - very fair considering the large portion size and exceptional quality. The to-go containers are good, too.
If I could suggest improvements - the waitstaff seems a little inexperienced, but very polite. The couple of minor issues with our experience was immediately taken care of in a no-fuss way.
I will definitely be back if I’m in...
Read moreIf I could give reviews based on flavor this would be a five star review. However, when reviewing a business you must take all facets of quality and service into account. The 1 Star aspect of this review was the lack of actual real food. I ordered a veggie delight. Typically in all other Thai restaurants I frequent you get tofu. Or at least it suggests it so you know it’s not coming. For $9 dollars I got a lot of delicious sauce, not nearly enough rice and very little vegetables. It screamed “trying to maximize profit” I actually had to go to Meijer and purchase some vegetables to actually get some substance.. I would rather a restaurant charge more (although the other three places I go typically have more and charge the same.) than try and be cheap with the food. I fear with a Thai restaurant just down the road that loads you up on good quality food for roughly the same price) this place will not last long. Sad, because I wanted so much to like this...
Read moreThe food was excellent. We had Gra Pao Gai (basic chicken), chicken pad thai, crab rangoon and a spring roll. Spring roll needed some meat. Pork maybe. But it was buttery and crispy. The crab rangoon had great flavor they had a little too much crispy edges or broke some off and put it on top of the pad thai but the flavor inside with cream cheese was delicious. Chicken pad Thai was medium and it was on point with what you'd expect it had some heat but it didn't blow your hair off. The prices were Fair. The portions were enough to eat twice unless you wanted to just get uncomfortable. Haha. I will definitely order here again I want to try the red curry. We ordered doordash so I don't know what the inside looks like. There are a couple of alternatives in the area but I've tried them and I think I prefer this place over them especially when it comes to price...
