Visited Social House 5/3. Was very excited as my fiancé has celiacs and it’s hard to find a restaurant with so many gluten free options in this area. We saw their posts and food and were impressed. In person was a different story. Our service and server were amazing. She was extremely attentive and efficient. The food was sub par to say the least. We got the garlic Italian roll and arancini to start. Looked amazing but looks can be deceiving. The bread was cold and hard. The arancini was a like warm fried ball of rice with a pinch of flavorless short rib and was surely not fresh out of the fryer considering the temp of the dish. For entrees we ordered short rib stuffed jumbo shells and chicken roulade. They “came” with soup or salad though we were charged $3 extra for the soups on our bill. Little shiesty but wouldn’t be upset if they were good. The tomato bisque was an acid bath and the onion soup was extremely greasy. Onto the main course! The chicken had a foul taste and the rice was raw, starchy, and crunchy. The stuffed “shells” were an actual pile of slop. Food that I wouldn’t consider feeding to my dog. $40 was literal robbery. We had 1-2 bites of both entrees and didn’t finish any course of the meal. They comped our entrees after I explained to the waitress who was very nice and understanding even after I told her not to. Long story short the beer was the best part of the meal. I was very disappointed and wanted to make it known. Good luck with...

If you're seeking a dining experience that combines exquisite gluten-free options with impeccable service, look no further than Social House Gourmet. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly in a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Our server, Lisa, was an absolute delight. She took the time to discuss the gluten-free menu options in detail, ensuring we felt confident and comfortable with our choices. Her attentiveness and genuine care enhanced our dining experience, making it truly memorable.

The gluten-free dishes we sampled were nothing short of spectacular. Each plate was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. It's evident that Social House Gourmet prioritizes quality and taste in every dish, catering to gluten-free diners without compromise.

In a dining scene where gluten-free options can sometimes be limited or lackluster, Social House Gourmet stands out as a beacon of excellence. The entire experience was simply heavenly, from the first bite to the last. We left feeling completely satisfied and eager to return. Social House Gourmet has definitely earned a place at the top of our list, and we’ll certainly be back soon.

With Lisa’s outstanding service and the restaurant’s commitment to quality, this establishment has earned our highest recommendation.

Our daughter had previously visited and raved about this place. So, we decided to try it out for our anniversary date night! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Emerson and seated to our liking. Emily, our server, greeted us almost immediately and took our drink order. We ordered the Arancini for an appetizer and it exceeded expectations. We split the tomato basil soup and wedge, blue cheese salad. Every bite amazing! Then, we enjoyed the rib eye dinner with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Cooked to perfection! The rib eye was tender and flavorful. The potatoes were like a creamy gravy perfectly paired on the fork with every bite of rib eye. I can’t remember getting asparagus so perfectly cooked from tip to the stalk! Honestly, I’m not sure why this place wasn’t packed. I feel like the level of service and quality of food should have had us waiting, even with a reservation! Anyone in the Flint, Grand Blanc, Swartz Creek, Fenton, Holly areas should make your next date night at the...

It was our first time dining out here and it did not disappoint. It was a Saturday night around 7:30pm I think and the restaurant was not busy. There are TVs on every wall and it is a bit loud. They have a full bar plus a large selection of craft beers. Our waitress Jack was fantastic! I ordered a craft beer that they were all out of and she suggested a second option after I wasn’t sure about the Bonfire Brown. Jack brought over a sample of the Bonfire Brown a the one she suggested. I went with the one Jack suggested, The Poet. It was a good choice. When we ordered our food Jack recommended the Braised Short Rib and Ribeye. The entree came with a salad the Apple Pecan Artisan. This salad was amazing! We loved everything about it. The Short Rib and Ribeye were delicious! For dessert we ordered Tiramisu (Moscato, and Berry) and a chocolate … I’m so sorry I cannot remember what it was called. Either way both were soo good! We had a great dinner that was made more enjoyable by our great waitress, Jack.

Visited on Sunday during one of the soft opening days. We were greeted by a few smiling faces who opened the door for us which was nice, and sat in the back. It's very nice inside with a good vibe. They were out of the drink option I chose so, went with a different kind which was still good. The presentation of the food was phenomenal. The salad was very good, I wish it was a larger portion but, will definitely get it again. The onion soup was good but much too sweet for my taste. Definitely a personal preference. My friend got the philly egg rolls and bread, which she also liked! We were checked on by maybe 6 different people, that would be my only "critique" & that it was so often, it did feel a little overboard although I know they were still in the practice phase. Overall will be back to try as more of a fancier date night out.
