Our group of 7 arrived around 9:50A yesterday and were greeted by two employees. One employee checked us in and asked for our drink orders. As we waited our group stepped outside to take a photo. That employee came back to give our drinks and informed someone in our party that they no longer had a particular beverage and asked her for another drink order. She left and we continued to wait outside until a second employee came outside and said, āladies it is 10:02 and your sessions have already startedā.
I was shocked that 1) the employees hadnāt instructed us in any way to enter the facility and that 2) her tone was so rude. We proceeded to be guided inside (finally) where we were instructed to change, fill out paperwork, and find our therapist.
Naturally, our sessions were cut short and we all still paid the full amount plus the mandatory 20% tip. $250 for a 40 minute massage and a rude employee interaction seems outrageous. Upon reflection, I was even more outraged. None of us had been to the facility before and had waited to be given instructions just to be chastised. Is that how you treat $2000 in revenue?
The one star is for the steam room, which was the saving grace to the whole experience. Spa Terra looses the other stars for poor service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible customer service. I made my appointment over the phone the day before and was told we could use amenities until 6pm. The day that we arrived at the spa to check in they told us that they would actually be closing at 3:30 and we needed to leave by then. The girl at the front desk (i think her name was Reesa? with dark hair and long black eyeliner) was very rude. We asked for a champagne refill which we were told was included and when we asked her she said we would need to pay if weāve had more that 2 or 3. i told her weāve only had 2 so can we get a third one and she gave us a very dirty look and said we would need to pay. she walked away and came back 2 min later and said ādo you want your drink or notā in a very rude tone. I also checked my bank statement after my appointment and saw that they had taken an extra $18 out of my account but i did not purchase anything there. Iāve tried calling multiple times to speak to a manager and have gotten no response even after speaking to someone at the front desk and leaving multiple messages. we left the spa in a worse mood than we arrived with. Save yourself the frustration and money and go get a massage at a local place that will charge you so much less for better service and better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just returned from a work trip where I got to work with Spa Terra, and couldn't get to Google Reviews fast enough. While I haven't had a treatment at Spa Terra, I was behind the scenes for a spa event they hosted. I've visited many spas around the country, and surrounding islands, and this is one of the best there is. I was a guest esthetician able to utilize a treatment room as part of the event. Myself and my colleagues were treated with utmost respect by every staff member. I have to call out the following people for their excellence, kindness, patience, and helpfulness: Kollette, Nikki and Eli, since they were the ones I interacted with most. There was also a wonderful amenities attendant whose name I regretfully didn't snag who kept everything expertly stocked. It reduced so much anxiety knowing everything was being expertly handled.
Anyway, the spa for one is so unique and beautiful. It's located in a wine cave right in Napa. The grounds are gorgeous, the spa is gorgeous - everyone was kind, accommodating, the space was clean and lovely. Their treatment menu is packed with incredible services that I can only guess are bar none.
If you're considering a visit, don't wait! This is a spot where I'd...
