Ninjacat Card Shop — Local services in Naperville

I've collected all across Houston and Chicago (the 3rd + 4th biggest cities in the US), and I can safely say that NinjaCat is amongst the best of the best TCG shops.

Like all great shops, there's some great rotating picks behind the glass case, a good selection of packs to pull from, and unending selection of bulk to sort through. But what makes them stand out is their organization. They have books for every major set so that you can see what you're missing to complete a master set. They have a "guide to card symbols" key for interested collectors ordered chronologically. They have whole binders dedicated to holos/reverses in specific types.

Not only that, but the vibe is always right. The staff is so kind and eager to help every player no longer how long they've been playing.

I started my collection here, and have grown to love the hobby so much since. I attribute a lot of that love for how welcoming of a start I was given at NinjaCat. Definitely come here (especially if you're looking for great vibes, calming pokemon music to play while you search, and a fantastic selection...

I recently visited Ninjacat, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had in a specialty store! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant.

The selection was absolutely incredible—they had everything from rare collector’s cards to the latest releases in trading card games. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting started, this place has something for everyone.

What really sets this shop apart is the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were more than happy to help me find exactly what I was looking for and even gave me great tips for building my deck. Their passion for the hobby is contagious!

The shop itself is clean, well-organized, and designed for browsing comfortably. I also loved the community feel, with tables set up for gaming and events—it’s clear they care about fostering a welcoming space for enthusiasts to connect.

If you’re a card enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to check out Ninjacat. It’s a hidden gem that I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!

First time coming in with my friend's 13 year old kid, he originally thought he wanted to get into Pokemon. We talked to Patrick, the store owner, about it and he offered for us to borrow a starter pokemon set for the kid to learn to play as long as we brought it back safely. That in itself is just such an awesome thing to offer for a kid just learning about card games and trying to get started in them. After some deliberation and me yapping about my love for Magic: the gathering though, he decided he wanted to try that instead. Patrick was just as accommodating and brought out some wizards of the coast starters for him to start practicing with. Needless to say, I'm just so excited to teach him and this little jumpstart will be perfect for me to teach the kid. Magic was such a huge part of my childhood and I love to share it with people. Thank you again, Patrick, for being so cool, down to earth, and helpful.
