Mike is the real deal. Super passionate, very cordial, super knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I came in looking for something little to bring my daughters back after a business trip in Chicago, and he gave me a ton of really awesome and well tailored suggestions based off our conversation. The games I got would've NEVER come up in any search on Amazon, I'm sure. If you want Monopoly or Candyland or something, yeah, it's here; if you want a game that's more unusual, fun for the kids AND adults, or just super unique, then this is your spot. He even gets folks coming in who make board games that they're trying to get to market, so from big name games clear down to the little guys, they're all here.
Check out the website, like/follow them on Facebook. If you or your family like board games, or are looking to, Mike has you covered and you'll be so happy you went to him.
I'll definitely be coming back here the next time I'm back in Chicago, hopefully looking for some board games for myself next time. But...

My girlfriend and I walked in and were pleasantly greeted by Michael who owns the place. He showed us some of the wonderful games that were being featured on the floor and let us play the jumbo versions of some games we had never heard of! We learned the rules super quickly, and started playing and loved it!
We came back a second time and bought two of the games; Pylos and Quoridor. Both are french games that have rules similar to Chinese checkers or checkers but have a completely different and unique gameplay!
Michael even hand delivered a game to our door since we bought one that was out of stock and it came in the next day!! Outstanding.
We've already played them at home with friends and plan to bring more friends to the store!
Thanks again Michael, you and your Treasures are truly a gift and a hidden treasure to Naperville and the world.
Make sure you ask Michael to...
Read moreWhile exploring Downtown Naperville, my partner and I stumbled into Treasures. We didn't know what to expect at first, but we were pleasantly surprised. They have a wide selection of tabletop games and lots of cool knickknacks! I accidentally found the techdecks they had for sale and it unlocked a core childhood memory. I just HAD to buy some! Shout out to Julian who is extremely awesome. He's a talented juggler, super good at games, and a very personable person! He was kind (and patient) enough to show us how to play Quoridor, which we will definitely be coming back for.
A little tip for anyone else who visits treasures: Don't forget to bring some cash! They're a small business and those credit card fees eat up a lot of their bottom line. If you love Treasures, support small business! They're worth every penny and you're sure to find something you...
