Terra Salon — Local services in Nashua

I have been going to Terra salon for the past few years (previously Verde) after moving away from my previous hair dresser of almost 10 years. I did research stylists in the area and ended up calling Verde and was scheduled with Alisha. From my very first appt with Alisha, I felt so comfortable and she totally understood what I wanted out of a haircut and color. She does an amazing job and my hair has never looked or felt so good! My hair is the smoothest and silkiest that it has ever been, she is magical. One of her greatest strengths is that she takes the time with her clients and wants the end result to be perfect. I recently cut 10 inches off of my hair and was very scared but she completely understood and took the time to show me how that would look and walked me through the hair style before she made the cut. She is also a complete doll and so easy to talk to. You would be crazy not to have your hair done by her and others must agree because she is so hard to get an appt with!...

Don’t waste your time here. I called this salon 3 times and left a message over the course of a month. No one returned my call. I finally tried email. Someone called me back as a result of the email. My first question was: “are you taking on new clients?” To which they replied: “yes we are”. They then said that they would have a stylist call me back at their convenience (emphasizing to me “convenience”) …. And of course no one ever called me back. I could understand missing a call or a message once, maybe even twice…. But when you spend more time just trying to reach a person to make and appointment than it would have taken to get your hair done…. I have never posted a Google review before, but I feel like I have to after my incredible experience at Terra!! I am not well versed in the slightest when it comes to hair terminology or even hair care, but Lauren was absolutely fantastic and did EXACTLY what I wanted. Her and the owner, Edward, explained throughout the entire process what they were doing and why. They communicated extensively and I learned so much! Most importantly, they were so patient and particular with my hair. The entire process took just under four hours, and while that sounds long, it made me feel valued and important that they invested that much time to make my hair look amazing.
