I visited the Nash Casino 2 days ago on May 10th and am very unlikely to return. Iām diabetic and was having an issue with my blood sugar so I grabbed a drink from the food court to buff my numbers and they would not let me enter the casino with the drink even to leave with it as I parked on the casino entrance. I have a damaged ankle and exiting out the mall and walking around the entire building wasnāt in the cards. I asked for a casino manager to speak with as this couldāve been a simple escort me out the main casino entrance with the drink and rather then get me a casino host who couldāve made that call they grabbed the security manager whoās response to me telling him that I was diabetic was āI donāt care thatās not my problem, not even I can bring in outside drinksā I asked to speak to a host manager and he said no that I wasnāt going any higher then him⦠so me and my guests left to casino and 10 min later my blood sugar bottomed out and I passed out in the car and there was apparently serious talk about taking me to an ER but they got me to wake up and stopped at a gas station to pump me full of sugar⦠I am mortified that the casino would put me through this and I canāt foresee a situation where Iād be willing to Visit then again cause Iāll likely always be diabetic and there are other casinos closer to me where the staff is much nicer in general and they donāt call security on you if you ask to speak to a manager, Balleyās Twin River, Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and MGM in Springfield and ones that immediately come to mind.
Now I waiting 2 days to post this review cause while the event was still fresh I had nothing nice to say. But now I can comment that their game selection was amazing including a game I really enjoy that this other casinos I listed do not have (Coin o Mania) and tho I doing play table games they seemed to have a nice selection. The smoking section is separated by an enclosure so the air in the casino is nice and clean and the games in general where clean and new, the ones I played ran well, and most games even had a clear divider so even when busy there is space between players so you donāt fell cramped. Itās ashamed I was treated so poorly and no understanding was shown to a pretty severe and common medical issues, even though I won some money there on my visit (in with $40 out with $120) I canāt ever imagine going back to a place where I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to check it out. It's a nice build out but the staff needs some help. I'm a poker player so start making my way to the poker room after taking a look around, I got approached by a girl who's opening line was, what do you need. I didn't quite know what she was asking as she looked like she dropped out of a 12 step program but still sort of cute from the side with dim lighting ..I asked if she was a waitress, once she confirmed I asked for a Coca-Cola and told her to hold fentanyl. She then asked me for a good tip, I was taken back back by this but somehow found myself negotiating a tip amount as if I was buying a gently used 2014 Honda Civic. In the end the tip I gave was to complete the problem next time. I went the cage and got some chips, that feel like they were purchased at big lots by the way... and took my seat at the table. Now, There's a linoleum ring around the table for some reason where your cards end up. It's almost impossible to pickup the cards unless you have a Freddy Krueger glove on or 1980s Coke nail on your pinky finger. The dealer at my table was as slow as cold molasses, could be arthritis but I'm not qualified to say...basically he was handing the players the card. I asked if the game was Texas hold 'em or go fish. Anyways.. I win a hand and the dealer starts pushing the pot to my opponent. I point out that my kicker plays and the pot is mine, after looking at the board for 2 minutes as if he's working out a math equation only Matt Damon can solve he finally shipped the pot over to me. I graped my Fisher-Price chips and headed out. Not before getting a free T-shirt in the wrong size despite my requirement. It nice to see the Nash is devoted to keeping the experience consistent, very hard to find now a days. If you set your expectations you'll have a blast...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a little excited about having a casino in such a convenient spot. Unfortunately, The Nash fell flat in pretty much every possible way. I presented my little welcome flyer i got in the mail, bit never received my free play. They only have two Craps tables, neither of which is a live play table where you can roll your own dice. When we got there, they had linked both tables to a single attendant, so I got to sit on the lower floor just watching video on delay. A very polite waitress came by and took a drink order...it wasn't until she got back that we were informed that they can't do "free" drinks at the tables. At the tables, they charge about as much as the local restaurants for drinks (and they're weak.) At the bar, you get to wait in a queue and be served after waiting 20 minutes. Then they charge you about $15 a drink....great, good to see they're going with Boston drink pricing in Nashua. The entire place just feels phoned in, I couldn't get into any kind of mood to actually gamble. Within 30 minutof being there I wanted out, so I walked around the mall a bit. I got back in there, sat at a slot machine for about ten minutes, and then I just wanted to leave. They sent me another free play offer a couple of weeks later in the mail, but I probably won't...
