Picture this: You walk into Buffalo Wild Wings, stomach rumbling, dreams of crispy wings and gooey cheese curds dancing in your head. Itâs a Friday night. The place isnât emptyâpeople are still eatingâbut the entire staff is in full âget outâ mode, scrubbing counters like theyâre prepping for a health inspection rather than serving customers.
We take a seat at the bar, hoping to get some late-night grub, but plot twistâthe bartender looks at us like we just asked them to cater a wedding. Sigh. You know the sigh. The âIâd rather do literally anything else but help youâ sigh. The âWhy are you even here?â sigh. The kind of sigh that makes you wonder if you accidentally walked into someoneâs funeral.
Now, weâre not monsters. We get itâclosing in 30 minutes isnât ideal. But last I checked, 30 minutes is still a half-hour of being OPEN. If you donât want people to show up, maybe change your hours to âKitchen closes whenever we feel like it.â
But the real kicker? Another poor soul wandered in, double-checked if they were open, and got so much attitude from the bartender that they turned around and left immediately. At this point, I wasnât just hungryâI had so much secondhand anxiety that I wanted to leave too. And we did.
The best part? A brand-new casino just opened next door. Itâs packed. People are spending money. Friday nights are only going to get busier. But BWW? Nah. Theyâve got bigger prioritiesâlike making sure the counters are spotless while potential customers are literally walking out the door.
Final thoughts? If you like being treated like a nuisance for daring to crave wings within legal business hours, this is your spot. Otherwise, hit the casino, grab a burger, and enjoy food from a place that actually...
Read moreI called in a pickup order of medium xtra crispy teriyaki wings, with fries. They upsold me on a $5 burger and fries deal, this was for my son so it was just a plain cheeseburger and bacon only. We got to the store right at the 20 minute mark and due to my back injury, my son went in to pick up the order. After an additional 10 minutes went by my son had not come out yet so I went inside to see what the holdup was. The person at the counter said that someone else was checking on the order. After another 10 minutes went by, the food was still not ready and I was requesting a refund, which he said only a manager could do. Shortly after that the manager came out of the kitchen area with my food. She tried making excuses, first being that the kitchen did not get the order until 13 minutes ago, which I ordered well over 40 minutes ago. So, they did not even enter our order until we were already there for 7 minutes. Then she tried to tell me that the Xtra crispy chicken takes more time to cook, which should be a minute or two not over an additional 20 minutes, which should have been taken into account when il placed the order originally and they gave me a 20 minute time frame. Then they charged me $12 for the $5 burger and fries deal because they said it was a dine in special not a too go special, which was not communicated during the ordering process. I'm frustrated at this point and I just take the food and leave. I get home to find that the burger did not have bacon on it, but had everything on elsee too include mayo and mustard which my son will not eat, so that was a waste of $12 as my son heated up some leftovers instead. Worst experience ever and will likely...
Read moreMy wife and I usually love to go and catch the UFC fights when there is a good card. I walked in and was seated at a high bar top table, which before we sat down, I politely asked to sit at a low top, so my wife and I donât have to dangle our legs all night. The waitress made us feel like it was an absurd request. With a copious amount of open table options to watch the fight, after 10 minutes of waiting we were finally seated at honestly the number one worst spot to see the fight, with all those TVs I couldnât see even one. đ . If you have read this long you are probably thinking I am high maintenance⌠I swear Iâm not đ¤ˇđźââď¸âŚ so, we asked our new waitress if we could sit somewhere at any of the 10+ tables on the floor that had a better view. We are easy customers, just 2 beers and some wings and a water and thatâs all we would need. She said okay and looked around, then waived us to what was now what I identified as the #2 worst place to watch the fight in the entire establishment, except it was outside and now we couldnât hear the volume even if we did want to listen. Call me Karen, but at this point it was almost comical how much these people didnât care or didnât want to make some good tip money. I have never felt like a complete nuisance for showing up to a restaurant. So I did what I have never done before in my 28 years of life, I walked out.
If someone actually takes the time to read this, would love to hear your thoughts on what you as the customer might have done, or what would you now do other than complain moving...
