Smokey Bones Tyngsboro — Restaurant in Tyngsborough

Disgusting and VERY unsanitary conditions! The board of Health NEEDS to visit Tyngsboro MA, Smokey Bones!!!! First time going for BBQ. Sat down, table was filthy, walls were splattered with old caked on food. Now onto the more disturbing part, the amounts of caked on dust, spider webs and dead bugs surrounded myself and our guests at our table. If someone actually cleaned the area, it was more then noticable to the naked eye. That tells me that most likely nobody actually cleaned our table. If they did, they sure neglected the area around the seat/table itself. The mac and cheese I ordered was hard on top and cold, it was obvious it was sitting out. Nobody enjoyed their meals, hard too when surrounded by filth. Yes, we debated on going somewhere else, but being Mothers day, our choices were limited as the waits are long or booked already. The food wasnt even that good for the prices. Why did our plates appear to have old food encrusted on the rims?? Is the dishwasher broken too? Spoke to our waitress, she didn't really care, but did suggest moving us to another dirty table. The manager I am 99% sure was a waiter, nor did he care when voicing our disgust. If your lucky and your table is actually "cleaned" before your seated, just beaware they use the same dirty rag on the seats and tables. Each mason jar light fixture is full of dust and spider webs that hover over your table and food. You can clearly see the strings of webs as the light filters right through them. If the diningroom is this dirty, what are customers NOT seeing behind the scenes like in the kitchen?? I would NOT recommend this location, save your money!! $100 wasted and nobody even cared when it was brought to the attention of the staff. Highly dissatisfied and regret ever going here. I expect atleast common sanitation and cleanliness of an establishment that I am spending my hard earned money and taking guests out too. I wish I checked the reviews prior to visiting, seems its a common occurrence for this location!

GROSS!!!...

Two times in a row disgust in the bathrooms, in which I've written the manager twice, same vomit provoking experience... Now 3rd time with a cook who can't make a Burger rare.. (LIKE REALLY, DUDES)... HOW CAN U MESS UP A RARE BURGER)... two of the times I was here, there was some really bad, bad language here, u couldn't imagine) coming from kitchen, immature wait staff... Just totally unexpected.. I've been coming. For a while, but it's consistently going DOWNNNN! OK...CHECKIN BACK IN ITS APRIL 9, things have gotten better the bartenders have been great at keep in good eyes on my burgers, reminding the cook to "get that burger off" so I thank u ladies,the manager contacted me personally...A+ IN ALL YOUR EFFORTS.it is much appreciated. We are continuing to visit...ug oh here we go again.April 9the we sent 3 burgers back.. Only to have a cook approach us and got argumentative with 4 of us.. I've NEVER EVER experienced anything like it.. And, we were patient, enjoying cocktails w our friends.. And this REALLY COOK!!! you are a foul, disrespectful, disgusting, person! We will be making phone calls to the executive level.. THIS BUISNESS NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE PROGRAMS & CLASSES!! YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! So I don’t want to get rid of my original review…. Because the service is always great but I do need to express a concern that’s been weighing on me for the last few days. I came in Saturday afternoon with my wife the service was great and the food was delicious as always! But we had to leave because we were so uncomfortable…… a lady with blonde hair was screaming at all the staff. It felt like it was going on forever. My wife then tells me that the last time she came here with her sister she saw that same woman yelling at the staff in the bar area infront of customers. This time it wasn’t INFRONT of us but we could hear her loud and clear. So unprofessional and just quite sad. We’ve gotten to know a lot of the waitstaff here and they’re all sweethearts and I hate to see this. I asked our waitress for the woman’s name and all she told me was that she was the general manager which SHOCKED me with how irate she was for her whole restaurant to hear! I then again asked my server what is her name and I don’t know if I made her nervous, or if they’re all half scared to death of this tyrant, but she just laughed and told me not to worry about it. No one deserves to be talked to the way this woman was talking to them and I’m telling you one thing if the next time we come it is with our children and we see her? Sadly we will be leaving. I will not expose my kids to language like that. Something needs to be done this staff looks defeated like I’ve never seen in the years I’ve been there. Do better...
