Horrible, horrible management. Under no circumstances if I knew what I know now less than one month of living here would I ever have come. We specifically asked for a fully renovated unit and the day before move in were shown our unit that was far from fully renovated. There was water damage in the master bath and the kitchen with mold growing. The only new vanity was getting damaged from water actively dripping. The cabinets were full of bugs and trash, dishwasher had dishes in it still, only one window in the entire place closed and locks and were going on 3 weeks of them “not having a date” for the windows to come in which is jacking up our energy bills. My fiance provided her letter verifying the dog we have is an ESA animal and they approved this. Since then they added on all of the pet fees since we moved in saying the letter is expired. She provided a new letter and they accused of fraud and said it is under review but have not even reached out to the provider to confirm. They are also adding on insurance and fee charges for our next month of rent that were never discussed or agreed upon in our lease. They actually state in the lease they DO NOT provide any insurance but are charging for it. Our garage disposal was broken when moving in, air filter not installed and cover for the filter painted into place. Only were any of these issues resolved after communicating daily for a week and finally threatening legal action if not resolved. There is trash all over the property that they don’t care to clean, the laundry room is a mess and less than half of the machines work. The office staff are downright rude and disrespectful. When showing them in person the issues we were having they denied multiple of these even seeing firsthand. They were only resolved because the maintenance workers are actually honest and want to fix things right. I wish I had never stumbled upon this place and my life would be much, much better than it is living here. Also, 3 of their 5 star reviews are from the office staff and should be ignored. Read moreIf I could give this property negative stars I would. I have been a renter for 17 years and in that time I have never seen such a mismanaged property.
Let’s start with the units themselves. They are very old. Even with the “renovations” all they did was put in lighting in the ceiling and change doorknobs and kitchen/bathroom surfaces. As the property is mismanaged and ill maintained, there have been multiple reported pipes burst in the property including one in my unit. The walls are paper thin and you obviously share ventilation with your neighbors as I can smell their units. There are roaches no matter what you do, and even rodents which is your responsibility to deal with according to maintenance.
Finally: management. I could write an entire novel on how unprofessional and incompetent Ms. Cloud is. In person she is polite and seems to take everything seriously. But when you follow up needing something taken care of or to file a complaint, she simply says “your concerns have been noted. Thank you.” AND DOES NOT FOLLOW UP. She is rude. She is condescending. She is incompetent. She operates either outside the law, or dances a fine line. She has zero customer service skills.
Ms. Cloud and Roselyfe Management also are big on tacking on arbirtary fines of between 250 and 500 dollars (due within 48 hours per her memo) for items that are not in the control of the tenant, outside their responsibility, and outside of their written lease. At least once a month she sends out “notices” that change the terms of your lease for monetary gain. She will not communicate anything that does not directly benefit the office, and she will never do so kindly. Also don’t bother calling the corporate number. No one will answer or they will answer and tell you someone will call you back from upper management which never happens.
Bear in mind that most of the 5 star reviews have been left by Ms. Cloud and other employees or friends of property management to mitigate the low ratings that had accumulated previously.

Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience with my attempt to lease Apartment B10 at 600 Whispering Hill Drive, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. After the walkthrough, I was left quite unsettled by the condition of the apartment, which did not match the online listings or the model I had previously visited.
One of the most concerning issues was the ceiling leak that had simply been painted over, creating not only an unprofessional appearance but also raising red flags about possible underlying problems. The safety hazards were also alarming; there was a nail sticking out of the back patio gate, which could easily lead to injury.
In addition, the overall maintenance of the property was lacking. Signs of wear and tear were evident on almost every door, with noticeable dents and damage. The kitchen had a rusted sink drain, and the bathroom had poorly caulked fixtures, which I found unacceptable for a rental property. The windows were dirty, further diminishing the living space's appeal.
I expected a well-maintained environment and requested an updated unit, only to be told that none were available, which was very disappointing. All of these factors led me to decide against moving forward with the lease.
To add to my frustration, after expressing my concerns, I have been denied the return of my security deposit without a clear explanation. When I requested contact information for the CEO to escalate my issue, my inquiries went unanswered. This lack of communication and support has compounded my disappointment with the property management.
Overall, I feel that my concerns were not adequately addressed, and the experience has been frustrating. I hope that the management takes these issues seriously and improves the maintenance and communication moving forward.
