L & L Market truly is "A Nashville Legacy" This historic building was constructed in 1929. "Where it housed the Se-Ling Hoisery Mill, a company that manufactured ladies hosiery. During that time, most the employees were from the local neighborhood. After some time it became the a shoe factory, and then Madison Mill before sitting vacant for years. The new and current owner purchased the building to use for the L&L Restaurant Equipment Company. He immediately fell in love with the building's historic lines and characteristics. Twenty years after using it for the restaurant equipment he had only grown more certain that it was both his passion and responsibility to restore the structure ensuring its future and place on the Nashville skyline. With the city gaining popularity and becoming a jewel in the crown of the Nations Developers, and he decided to give back something good to the neighborhood and greater Nashville-area and to turn this place into the coolest mall in Nashville," With the buildings long history it has earned it the designation of a permanent structure and hopefully an oasis for many patrons to enjoy food, fun and Nashville hospitality for many years to come!

My friends Todd Hood & Galen Walker are building a brewery which will be top knotch! Like , Nashville Tennessee has never seen Bold Patriots Brewing Company located on Charlotte Avenue where the old L&L market building is. Todd is a very talented Brewer making beer like he has been doing it for 50 years and he is only 28 or 29. Galen Walker should be a History teacher for how much information he has retained and shares. Each beer is name after a famous historical person or event that help shape this country to the Great one she is. There is a Lexington IPA that is to die for named after the battle of Lexington. Another named Molly Pitcher who was the wife of a man who ran the cannon. She used to run about giving the soldiers drinks of water until after hours of fighting her husband collapsed from exhaustion at which point she took over the cannon! Now that's a wife that has your back! In Norco California where we are from there was not a beer on Todd's menu that would disappoint you or you could finish it. If you love beer good craft beer I taught Love's Brewing it you've got to check out bold Patriot Brewing Company and speak to Galen Walker. I think they're trying to open in March send me the prayers we need an excellent place like this in Nashville where we can learn about our country's history and drink...

We loved our quick visit to L&L Market last night. Thainiyom The Thai restaurant was delicious. We ate Shrimp Pad Woon Sen. So fresh and tasty. It was spicy, we opted for a 2 on the 1-5 scale so be cautious if you’re sensitive to spicy foods. We had a quick little fruit drink at Eat Bubbles. It’s pricey but for a special occasion it’s fun and the young man at the counter was very helpful explaining it all so I could order. We had limited time last night so we couldn’t experience it all. But we will drive the 2.5 hours to make an afternoon of it again. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because the parking is confusing. BUT, we parked and went inside to the restaurant and they helped me with the free parking registration!! Simple easy peasy. Scan QR code at restaurant, fill in phone number, license plate number and state. Hit Start timer and you get 3 hours FREE!! A few more distinct signage would help with this confusion. We Almost left but we really wanted to eat at Thainiyom so we went inside to figure it out. Also I know parking in cities is always an issue so to get some free parking and fun atmosphere...
