I am absolutely floored looking at the rest of these reviews, wondering if everyone else went to the same place I did. I'm not trolling: this was easily the worst dining experience I've ever had. The service was fine (except charging us for things we didn't even touch on the conveyor belt), but the food itself was absolutely pathetic. Of course, value-wise it was pathetic, but quality-wise as well. And not just in the "oh, this guy doesn't like charcuterie" way. I do. I can go to World Market and pick up super basic, pre-packaged stuff and be a happy clam. Mass per dollar, this was the worst value of any meal I've ever had. The plates you can pluck off the belt have less than a single mouthful of food and are $8-11, which is whatever if it was real gourmet stuff, but these folks were literally just cutting cheese onto a plate with some basic salami and calling it gourmet. Anything bread-related was stale, including the breadsticks, pretzel bun, and biscuits. Anything cheese-related was half-frozen and not remotely soft nor spreadable. My friend got wine and they must have broken out the graduated cylinder in the back because it was the least generous 5oz of mediocre wine ever for $11/glass. If this place didn't have the conveyor belt, I would figure it would be out of business quickly, having survived purely off gimmicky intrigue and TikTok. I came away thinking they must have virtually zero repeat customers, but apparently based on Google reviews I'm the crazy one. I didn't complain, I didn't make a fuss, but I quietly though strongly disapproved and will never, ever be hoodwinked into...
Read moreAs someone with lactose intolerance, I would not come here again. However, that’s not part of my star rating since that wouldn’t be fair. My friends had said there would be plenty of meat and fruit options and that wasn’t really the case. There were two vegan cheese/meat plates, and about three meat only plates as well as a vegan cookie and a veggie plate. We ended up spending at least $70 and I was still hungry when we left.
The only two fruit options I saw came with dairy on the plate. I think more options of just fruit would be nice instead of one tablespoon of sliced strawberries with some corn flakes and cream for $8.
In terms of the food I tried, I wasn’t really impressed and it was felt more expensive than it was worth. By the third plate, everything started to taste the same. The most delicious thing was actually the vegan chocolate chip cookie. The chips were also good and I would have liked a plate of just those.
We had reservations which I would recommend for a large group. Seating seemed pretty limited, mostly stools around the bar with a couple reserved tables. It’s also in an open corridor of the shopping center so it feels casual, despite the prices feeling luxurious. The service staff was friendly, however the staff in the food prep area seemed stressed which wasn’t a great vibe.
I don’t think I’m the target audience for this restaurant, so I don’t want to judge it too harshly. If you like charcuterie and can enjoy the menu without worrying about the price, go for it. But if you have a limited diet and budget, this place probably...
Read moreLiterally pushed away from service. The signs for seating were pointing to the wall. The podium for service was not in view, but pushed next to the white wall, as to make it invisible. We waited 10 minutes at the counter for help, not seeing anyone who was hosting. Before we knew it, the host was seating another group, and pushed his back in to me and my child, so he would have space to seat another customer. I thought it was unintentional, so I patiently scooted back. He then pushed back in to us again, and then left. I went up to him explaining that we had been waiting for service, but not knowing how to receive it. He then pointed to the signs on the counter, saying that they pointed to the podium, which he immediately scooted to align with the signs. I explained how I couldn’t make sense of the signs, when I first saw them, as they pointed to the wall with nobody around. He then disagreed arrogantly. I asked if we could please be seated, and he said that we could not be seated together, or would have to wait. I answered that we were standing at the chairs that would seat all of us, but he pushed us away. I have never received such poor service. Regardless to say we walked away, and ate at a much friendlier place right next...
